Talk about tone deaf. Sheesh. Do you not realize there are people here that have been waiting two months just for the opportunity to buy cards they will actually use? It's more than enough to put people on edge.

First of all, I am in the same boat as everyone here. I am still waiting for my card. The fact that I am smart enough and didn't put all my eggs into one basket doesn't warrant this punitive attitude. I never said I am planning to buy a product in order to resell it. I said that if I happen to receive both, then I will definitely sell one of them. Or would like me to be the good samaritan and just give it away for free?
 
And no, the definition of scalping is buying all available stock then selling it back on the market at huge profit margins. You can interpret my emoticon as you please, this is the internet after all, but I hope you have better use of your free time.
 
I think you'd better channel your rage towards EVGA and Nvidia. After all, they are the only ones responsible for this mess and for the scalping altogether. The fact that some random dudes make a few hundred bucks playing the scarcity game on ebay is dirt under the nails of what these big corporations and major electronics resellers are doing.

Just checked. No EVGA ones, but good choices in Asus TUF and ROG and some MSI too, but not available for delivery as well. If I didn't plan on the Step-Up I would have probably found a card by now. I caught a few available some nights but if I did buy a different brand 3080 my EVGA 2070 Step-Up plan is botched and an unnecessary expense. Will try holding out till next year... Hopefully we don't have to wait that long (in the Step-Up).

Yesterday there were multiple sources having 3080 FTW and XC3 at inflated, higher prices, but not super high. Like 100 EUR higher than listed.
 
I wonder if some stock hit the EVGA EU Queue, or they will rather sell it to Amazon or other shops for higher profit margins.
Even my country got some GPU's in EVGA, could be the first time I saw them here, but here they were sold at inflated prices, close to 1100 EUR.

I was on the phone with EVGA yesterday...they are still on the first week(starting 17th) of september orders when it comes to notification system. Realistically speaking...dont expect 3080's before mid janurary onwards. 
For those on STEP UP program... I bought 2070S in september only to upgrade it to 3080 ftw3 Ultra as I was thinking at the time that might be the fastest way of getting one. Well I couldnt be wrong more! I was told yesterday that we(step up program) are NOT the priority untill ALL pre orders from retailers & notification que customers will get their card first so if you are one of them fools like myself hoping to get it before christmast...just forget about it. Mid feburary if we lucky because websites like computeruniverse.de  are still accepting preorders.
The only good news he told me was that from mid  december onwards shippements to europe will increase in volume from few dozens into hundreds and thousands in late Janurary. 
All considered, still I dont blame EVGA for nvidia's fuk up and I think they doing more that any other aib partner. Hopefully I get the card thru notification system. Got in que 2 months ago soo...fingers crossed.

Mid January doesn't seem to bad actually. My 1080 Ti is still running fine, and the new PSU will not arrive until late December.

This doesn't make sense, there's a dude earlier in the thread that registered on 24th September and got his notification on 12th November and bought the card. Surely they can't be stuck on the first week, more like second or even third week by now.

The "Dude" you talking about got 3090, my post was about 3080. But feel free to belive in whatever makes you happy👌😉

I've pulled the trigger and got a readily available EC3 Ultra for around 100 euro premium . I'll be removing myself from the queue. Good luck with getting yours before Christmas guys.
