Guys,
Am I the only to notice that only 3897 cards got notification change to YES.. This happened only to FTW3 ultra 3080. No other cards have this issue..
Let's hope they have progressed with ultras and we all get cards.
I got an email from german support saying they are sorry there was a technical issue that I didnt receive a notification and they are looking into it.
Maybe I am too hopeful, but they didnt say the notify page ist broken...
You mean... sorry for not receiving the notification, we will try to send them all again?
Or... sorry for the false positives?
Yes, they could also say sorry, there was an issue with the 'my notifies' page. But I dont really think I will be able to get a card this year anymore, its just that last spark of hope since cyberpunk preload has just started

I checked the evga site and also my notification is sent.
Checked the email, got nothing.
Wrote an email to the european support for more information and I am waiting the answer.
Entered in the queue system 20/09

Is this issue only for the FTW? Can anyone that signed up for other models check their lists?
I only signed up for the Black and Ultra XC3 and it's all normal on that front.

Please don't buy and order from site like alternate, they increased the price of all the cards.
Now Evga is at € 1.019. The price should be maximum 900 counting a profit for 3080s.
So please don't buy any card with scalper price.

Retailers in Germany are also "scalping" their customers. A 3080 on Mindfactory costs 1000€+. Most cards 3060ti/3070/3080 are about 150-200€ above msrp. A 3090 costs 1779€ lol thats 2150 usd.

I already mentioned it. For me a regular shop, which pays taxes etc. is not a scalper, if they request higher prices due to high demand. That is normal behaviour in open markets. Scalper are "private person" who are acting on the "black market", buying products from normal (r)etail shop, selling it for higher prices and not paying taxes on the profit.
Yes, most cards are over MSRP at the moment, unfortunately. Margins are quite low for etailers at normal times, so I can understand that they now try to increase their margin (an not letting real scalpers getting the profit). However, the 1779€ for a 3090 is standard in Europe for most versions other than FE and some basics models. It is up to NVIDIA and the AIBs to produce more.

Can confirm mate, mine's an Ultra too. Bit of hope never hurt anyone I guess, but it's been a bit of a rollercoaster today (light, it's still only a graphics card in the end).

If a retailer is selling a Gigabyte 3080 card for nearly 1200€, that retailer is a scalper. End of story. 50€, maximum 100€ over AIB's MSRP would be understandable, but majority of retailers in Europe are selling cards from 150€ and up to almost double the price the cards should be costing (same with new CPUs and consoles). Prices should be below 900€ for all the 3080 GPUs. Those few FE cards Nvidia bothers to drop in EU are meant for only handful of countries. Most people can only dream of those cards and MSRP prices. This whole situation is just so out of hands.

Alternate.de has EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra, EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra, RTX 3090 XC 3 Ultra, RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra and RTX 3070 XC 3 in stock.
Good spot, still Ultras available there too... but the price man, yikes. EVGA cards seem to be quite a lot pricier than MSRP in general at a lot of retailers. I'd rather just order from them directly anyway.

I don't really know the margins that sites like Alternate or Mindfactory have, but to me selling a 3080 FTW3 Ultra for 1019€ is equivalent to scalping, it's effectively the same price as buying the GPU on stockx.com (from scalpers). I also think that EVGA should send these cards to shops that are still trying to fulfill preorders from September or to advance the queue in the EU store.
