This is pretty awesome took only 4 months to be processed so I could receive a whooping $20.00. It must have been so hard to process that paper work form. Did your employees read one word of it per day?

I honestly don't know why this company even offers rebates because they shouldn't. Evga has the worst and I mean the absolute worst rebate process I've ever seen in my life. I was really unhappy about mutilating my box for the ORIGINAL UPC code just to cash in this rebate. I know companies drag you along on rebates and it does take a while to get them but you advertised 4-8 weeks weeks but it took you twice that long.

Customers like myself went to your Evga rebate video on youtube and discussed amongst ourselves the problems we were having with your rebates and how long it was taking for you to distribute them and all of sudden you decided to remove the comments and voting options on your video. If you ask me it's pretty shady for a company to hide the stink of their own feces for a problem they created themselves. We were complaining and upset because we brought your products in good faith and were mislead by your offers.

You reel us in promising us one thing then don't follow up with it. I just now received my amazing 20dollar rebate after having to call in and speak to your rep almost every week to make sure it got done.

I even get rebates from the Government Quicker and that's saying A LOT if your slower than them.

Just saying as a word of advice, if you can't handle rebate processing properly don't offer it because you're only upsetting your customers, like you probably already now know. $20.00 isn't much but 4 Months of waiting for such a small rebate is ridiculous. You got your money from me, why is it so hard to get my money from you?
I was so disappointed I took the time to register just to say all this, and that's saying a lot considering I don't usually bother with this sort of thing.

    Dear dontmakemelaugh,
I am very sorry for any confusion as the rebate process is quite simple and the same process used by many other companies. The rebate takes 6-8 weeks to process once the paperwork is received and the rebate is approved which is 1-2 weeks faster than most other companies that offer rebates. I am unfortunately unable to find any rebate request with the information that you used to register with us at EVGA.com to find out the processing time for your request or if any problems did occur during processing but we are here to assist you if you should need support.

    Rebate process:
    • Submit your rebate information at http://evga.4myrebate.com
    • Print the completed registration form and mail it in using the directions and address on the form.
    • Rebate paperwork is received and approved if everything is correct.
    • 6-8 week processing time for the rebate company to recieve the funds and process a check or a rewards card
    • transit time through the mail which can take up to 30 days in some cases and this is beyond our control
If you should have a question or concern on a rebate please contact our rebate support by emailing rebates@evga.com for assistance.

As far as the rest of your rant, apparently you don't deal with certain situation well so I suggest you don't send the rebates and you won't be disappointed any more.
You do realize we are talking about $20. which by the way you did receive.

You have to mutilate the box so you get locked into your purchase.  You get $20 and in exchange you can never return the item to the retailer.

Then I will say again "I suggest you don't send the rebates and you won't be disappointed any more."
For some people it is best not to,  he complains that he had to cut the box (which he knew he had to do in order to receive the rebate) ,  then he complains that he received the $20. rebate and now the box is cut. Maybe I'm just not getting it..

I'm shutting up about the whole thing.  Oh, other than I've never had a problem with the EVGA rebates because I read.

You do realize we are talking about $20. which by the way you did receive.

I received a rebate I sent off in November in March. Time quote was 4-8 weeks.
That's not including the time I spent contacting Evga to lite a fire under their ass to make sure it got done. I suggest you understand another persons point of view before throwing your two cents in. 4 Months is a long time to wait for anything. I send rebates in all the time for purchases, from autoparts to basic needs for my business trust me I am well aware of how rebates function, Evga's really needs tp work on theirs. I didn't even mention they only sent me one contact e-mail stating they received the rebate in January. They must have been one long 2 month trip it took to get to them they are only 1 state away from me.  Regardless if I received it or not no one should have to put in that much effort in time to get a rebate. As you so stated yourself it's just for $20.00. There were also many others complaining although they won't be on these forums as they are not as dedicated as I am about customer service/satisfaction.

I don't know if you like being dense or just not retail savvy or for whaterver reason you feel like stepping in to defend a company when you really have no grounds to but there's a big difference between showing  proof of purchase like providing a copy of your purchase receipt and just being petty like being forced to cut up the box on something you paid hundreds of dollars for to provide them a UPC for something you already verified you purchased. This isn't a cereal box. People that did as requested sent in their forms and Evga "lost them" or claimed they "didn't receive" documentation. Leaving customers with a product they can't really verify that they purchased. I brought my card from a retailer that advertised their products with the rebate. There was no stating that the UPC needed to be cut until you register with Evga and then their process informs you. By that time you have already made your purchase decision. Others were also complaining that had issues getting warranty work done by Evga because they didn't have their UPC code due to the rebate requirements. UPC's can be pretty important sometimes and it's one of the reasons I keep all the boxes for items I purchase. Sometimes if theres a recall, model issue,if you want to resale it, need warranty work, ETC it's necessary. Not to mention there's a similar card model to the same one I purchased and the only way to tell them apart really is by the UPC.
I don't consider pointing out problematic issues myself and many other customers experienced with Evga to be a "Rant". Apparantly it was a problem enough for Evga to "remove" comments and voting functions from their Rebate page to hide a problem that many people were having with their rebate process and some even getting scammed out of their rebates by Evga. If you can't understand the problems people had just google them.

Again I'm not targeting the trouble I've had with this company at any individual specifically but when you jump in making statements like your the CEO of Evga then I suggest you suck in your chest because you're about to feel a wave of people complaining about this.

Hmm, and EVGA doesn't even process rebates. But, the company that does process rebates for them also process rebates for Asus, OCZ, Diablotek, Sparkle, Diamond, PNY, ADT, etc...

You may not have the option to return for refund but as long as you leave the serial number on the video card or motherboard, then you should be able to RMA with EVGA during the warranty period if something goes wrong. There are two serial numbers, one on the box and one on the product itself.

Rebates remind me of when you receive money from grandparents that live out of state on your birthday, always surprised when it shows up.   (you always receive it 2-3 weeks after your b-day)

At least you got the rebate.
I got the Corsair H70 cooler last year, sent in the rebate, and I'm still waiting (yes I know I will never get it). Thats even after speaking with their people about it multiple times.

And amazingly enough, Corsair uses the same company as EVGA for rebates...wonder how hard it is to find a good rebate processing company these days.

I've never had an EVGA rebate, so I can't comment on the rebate from EVGA.

Zotac and Patriot did fine. I got a check for some cash from OCZ due to a Ram RMA and them not making it anymore, they were probably the easiest to deal with and the most helpful.
Was kind sad that it was the Corsair one that let me down considering they appear to be a top notch company.

Eh, I got my one rebate in 4 weeks flat. Your rant is bleh. Either your handwriting was terrible enough that it took a cipher to decode it, or...well....crap happens. EVGA don't handle em, so complaining to EVGA don't help. Complain to the rebate company.

    Please dont be angery
EVGA is one of the few companies who will try ALL they can to help you. All rebate forms have simple rules and directions.

I have never been denied of a rebate because i read than re read.

i also take pictures as a proof right before mailing the material

Sure you can RMA the card if needed, but with a mutilated box and no UPC a retailer will not give you a cash refund or even store credit; as I stated, you exchange $20 to be locked into a purchase with EVGA.  Your 30 day window to return the card for cash closes the second you cut that box up.

But then again, most rebates just have to be postmarked within 30 days of the actual purchase, that is why I will wait towards the end of that 30 day period before cutting out the upc/serial number and mailing out the rebate.

    Good to know  :)

I always try to get it mailed before the offer expires, I don't want any excuses as to why my rebate was denied.  Next time I buy something I am weary about, I'll hold off for at least 2 weeks before mailing the form.

it's actually completely (removed) stupid that a company that sells something directly should even have a rebate process on their own store it should be instant. you're buying it directly from EVGA in the first place. if anything it shows a complete lack of care for the customer

I was looking for a rebate thread as it happens.

"We have received your submission and it is being processed."

^ been seeing that message for a long while now on a $50 rebate for my 2080Ti purchased in late December 2019... not a very good business tool if it pisses people off taking so long, lol.

They are pretty slow, that's for sure.  I've been seeing the same thing since mid January (purchased early Jan.) on a PSU I bought.  I just checked the status again this morning... Still "being processed".

I am pretty sure it is a third party company that does the processing, I don’t think it is EVGA directly. I could be wrong.

Yeah third party, even though the site name is evgarebate.com, anyone can grab a domain name if it isn't already taken ..for example, evgarebatepurgatory.com is available..

Finally received the card.. 4 months later.

It's a Mastercard debit card with a pin #... from what it says, I have to sign or use the pin when making a purchase, which infers physical presence at a retailer that accepts them. That's a little tough to do right now lol. Has anyone used these things online at places like Amazon or Newegg ..or EVGA?
