Hi there,
I just bought a gtx 1070 Superclocked second hand on ebay.
The seller says this gpu has still 1,5 year of warrantee.
But i see some cuts on the warrantee sticker.
Is the warranty avoided?

Thank you.

    Welcome to the forums!

The cuts are normal and they are there to prevent the serial number sticker from being removed from the card intact.

If you read the warranty section here on site, your questions will be answered. No, you cannot extent the warranty. Only the original purchaser can, within a limited time frame after purchase.

Starting on March 1st, 2013, products registered within 90 days of purchase with the part number suffix -KR* with the exception of peripherals or power supplies will have the option to purchase an extended warranty within the regions of the Contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Europe. The product must be purchased as new and from an authorized EVGA reseller to qualify for the Extended Warranty Program. The extended warranty will be available for purchase by the original owner within 90 days of the purchase date and a receipt from an authorized reseller is required to verify the purchase information and to validate the Extended Warranty purchase. Customers will have the option to purchase either the 5 year or 10 year program, extending the warranty by an additional 2 or 7 years respectively.

Thank you for the answer. All clear.
The only thing i want to understand is if there is a way to see is the warranty time left fro my gpu.
The seller said "EVGA warranty does not need invoice of original purchase. There is 3 year warranty from time the card left EVGA warehouse." but when I insert the serial number it let me register that and ask me for send the invoice for check.
Does it means it was bought in another store and never registered before?
    Thank you.

Talk to evga on the phone, and they will tell you exactly how much warranty is remaining on the card. https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

Your purchase is the invoice that should be uploaded

You'll have to contact EVGA CS to confirm remaining Warranty - based on serial number ---> After you register the card

You would be able to provide a copy of the invoice from the purchase you made from the seller (ie; ebay invoice / paypal transaction, handwritten using a template like shown here: Written receipt template, etc.). You are not required to provide the original invoice for the original purchase.
