I plan to double box my 2070. The retail box is in mint condition and I hope to keep it that way. I will admit I'm a tad bit stressed about the card making it in one piece. I'll just buy the insurance and cross my fingers like everyone else.

Ended up spending around a freakin’ $109 for a UPS 2-day air shipping with insurance for $800! I guess it’s better to be safe with less time in transit..

UPS ground shipping double boxed and insured for $800 from PA to CA cost $93. I was looking to do 2 day but it was around $190. I'm a patient man so...guess I'll be waiting on ground shipping.

I think I’ll wait til Monday to ship mine out since I’m only a state away from Brea, CA. Instead of $55 I’d rather spend $20 lol. So I can guarantee that they’ll get the card Tuesday, most likely ship out same day or Wednesday, and I get the 3080 Wed/Thurs! If I ship out today, I’d spend $55ish so they can receive it by tomorrow Friday, 10:30am. Send 3080 out hopefully same day, and I paid for next day air for it, I get it Saturday. Hmm...I’m impatient as well. **** it $55?

I had the same thinking as you. I actually shipped mine back on Monday overnight with AM delivery. They got it Tuesday AM around 10AM and they still have yet to ship my 3080 to me and I paid for 2nd day air back. My thought was they would get it out Tue or Wed but they did neither and still have not shipped it.

Ahh what a bummer, sorry for that. I saw that some got theirs shipped same day so I’m guessing they were busy this time around? I already have my shipping label printed for next air shipping. I don’t have to send now yet right? I can wait til Monday or if I change my mind I’ll just ship it by today after noon.

From a rumor mill....take with this with a grain of salt but the market will be flooded with 3080 by the end of the month or beginning of November
I just saw something along these lines, as well. Source is very reputable, IMO.

Looks like MLID is updating his reporting on the supply counts, saying the 3080 shipments rumored to drop in late Oct/early Nov "have pretty much been cut in half" (from 300K). Hi all, I'm late adding my name to the list, but I received my Step 1 email on 9/18, @10:52 AM. I was prepared to wait, but this seems a bit wild that there is THIS poor of a supply response from nVidia.
I'm not interested in trying source another card in retail, and then losing the purchase value of the 2070 as it simply isnt worth what I paid for it anymore. Waiting for the Step-Up process and "surviving" with a 2070 is the very definition of a first world problem. Trying to put a positive spin on this, I feel like I have enough time to fit a new CPU into next month's upgrade schedule without being surprised by availability on the card in November.

Got my Step 5 last night (Weds) after getting my Step 2 on Monday afternoon. The process moves along at a decent pace once your turn comes up. Never had to wait more than a day for them to process something.

They got it Tuesday AM around 10AM and they still have yet to ship my 3080 to me and I paid for 2nd day air back. My thought was they would get it out Tue or Wed but they did neither and still have not shipped it.
Damn thats a long time to turn around your RMA, especially when some people got same day. Did you take yours apart or break that sticker/seal covering a screw? I figure they'd spend more time testing the cards that've been "tampered" with. But either way, Friday would be business day 4. I'd wanna know what the hold up is

Had my 2070s delivered to evga at 10:24am pacific time. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for them to confirm it works and have it show up as received on their end. I packed it super well but I'm so anxious that it could have gotten messed up during shipping. Edit: Looks like it was confirmed as received just now around 11:40am

Hmmm I see. Well from the looks of it on the spreadsheet, there's plenty of people with the same time as you who also haven't gotten their step two yet so you're not alone. If anything it seems like you barely missed the cutoff for stock this week. I'd give it another week before I start getting concerned

No, it was not modified. The only thing wrong is the 2080 metal sticker kept falling off but that was it. They have not reached out to me or anything. It was packed back up in the original box and I had all the original packing so it should have arrived safe. Still no movement though.

Hello All- I received my card on Wednesday this week. Just a note to everyone so you don't experience the pain that I did. This card requires 3 separate PCI connectors to your power supply - as you probably know (not cable 1 that splits to 2 + one, but 3 separate cables). I thought I had everything, the problem was the spare cable from another power supply was different. You need to check the 8 pins to ensure that they will fit your power supply - I have a Corsair and I brought another home from work and it happened to not fit - so double check this before you get your card!

Are you sure? I've heard that daisychaining + 1 standalone works from several sources. Is that not the case?
