Short update:
After payment verification I sent in my 2070S on the same day (monday 27th of september) and it arrived at EVGA in Germany on wednesday the 29th of september. Got a mail that they received it.
So now waiting for an update and tracking code. On EVGA.com it says the estimate shipping date will be monday 4 october.

Ooft, I'm in November, I definitely don't think I'll be getting a card this year. Luckily my RMA'd 2080Ti is holding up fine. I still don't have a response from HMRC about the VAT paid on it coming back into the UK, sadly. Another poster got a response in about 4 weeks, I've been waiting 7 weeks now. So that gives some of you a time frame expectation if you get hit with VAT charges. Be prepared to be out of pocket for months. edit - lol, you wouldn't believe that, got my letter in today with my refund.

I wonder what the drop off in numbers is as you go through the days.
You'd think there would be a high % the first few days so we should get moving pretty quickly.

Got the following message on my
tracking:
“Your parcel is being held in our delivery depot awaiting payment of customs charges. The addressee is being sent a letter outlining the charges and how to pay.“
They could have just emailed me, this process is so long. How did people get customs charges refunded with HMRC?

You can phone them up with the tracking number on 0344 800 4466 to speed things up
They've posted a letter to you with the charges

Was it expensive? EVGA should be sending my 3070 within the next week or so (all going well)

I had to pay VAT on the card, mines a 3080 so cost roughly £172
