So, I recently realized that the 3070 FTW ultra won't fit in my case. I had assumed it would be approximately the same dimensions as the 3070 FE, but it's about an inch and a half too long. I could have gotten it anyway and resold/traded it for 3070 FE or Radeon 6800, but that would involve up to 4 x shipping charges and I decided to cancel my step-up as the simpler solution. I still have until Jan 4th to start a new one, and maybe by then the 3060ti will be available at a more suitable length.

if you know you are a few minutes away in queue, you know you got one you already paid into on lock in the coming weeks. unless you can find a way to get your money back on the card you initially purchased, id say wait it out. the queue is clearly moving along, mine is in the mail right now
