My new card was also shipped out yesterday, the tracking code doesn't have any info on it, im guessing UPS has a delay on that. With a little luck, I may have this thing by tonight lol

Yea - I got switched to the non-mining card. They said I can opt-out and go back to the normal card queue. But they can't guarantee and advised against it.

Hey, TorontoMans. Did you end up having to pick up at their retail location after a delivery attempt? Or was it delivered at your residence? I'm curious how paying the fees work. Does UPS bring some sort of machine for you to pay using debit/CC? Just wanna make sure there isn't an issue with shipping. Some couriers can be lazy. Thanks.

I paid online as soon as I got the email, but yes they do bring wireless POS to your door if you don't. I did it online because I didn't want any shipping delays and also minimize contact between the UPS employee and I. Having said that, the 3070 is now fully unboxed and stickers have been peeled. Will be installing it tonight after work. My watch is finally over. Thank you to all the mods and EVGA support team for helping me throughout the whole process. This has left a very positive impression on me and I will definitely consider buying more EVGA components in the future. Also thank you to fellow users that have answered my questions throughout this thread! Cheers :) Good luck to those who are applying.

Ah. I should've done that. There was a delay so I called to pay. If they bring a POS, no idea why they couldn't just make a first attempt.
Most likely will wait till Thursday. I asked to skip the first attempt and go straight to a retail location for a pick up, they wouldn't. Purolator does this though. Pretty sure UPS could too.

I recently did a step up for a 3060 to a 3070 TI FTW3. These are the dates of movements: Step 1: June 11, 2021 Step 2: June 30, 2021 Step 3: June 30, 2021 Step 4: July 4, 2021 Step 5: July 6, 2021 There was a delay between step 3 and 4 because I needed to make the payment for the step up. Sent back GPU: July 7, 2021 Arrived at EVGA: July 9, 2021 Passed Inspection: July 12, 2021 (2 days lost due to the weekend) Shipped out: July 12, 2021 Delivered: July 14, 2021 Hope this helps you. Your spot should be coming up soon.

It seems like the 3070 has slowed down again, I registered and signed up on July 8th, but still haven’t gotten my Step 2 email yet. But hopefully I’ll hear back from them soon.

Yep, seems fairly obvious now they ran out of cards for Step Up, at least for the 3070/3070TI queues. Also Step Up is probably their lowest priority so will be the last to get any excess cards that were not shipped to retailers or doled out through the auto-notify queues. Probably gonna be a long wait...
