Hi,

I have two EVGA GeForce GTX 1050 SC GPU's and only one monitor is working? I have Two Dell P1911 screens and each screen is attached to a GPU VIA a DVI-D cable. I can't seem to get the second screen to come on or even detect? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Welcome to the Forum P10GE
    Are both Cards showing in the Motherboard Bios?
    What Motherboard do you have and CPU and us your MB Bios update date that is the Current Bios from the OEM website?
    In the NVIDIA Control Panel can you see both Cards?

    Could be a faulty output/cable.

    I'll restart it and check in a second as I am downloading GeForce Experience (V384.76) as the drivers that came with the GPU's don't seem to be compatible with my version of windows (Version 375.63).

    When I go into system I can see the second GPU but it says ''Not Available'' next to a lot of the information, so I think it can see it but something isn't quite right somewhere. This is a new build and all parts are brand new

    Could be that your ASUS TUFF X299 Mark 2 Motherboard was not really ready for end users use.
    You should address this with ASUS as well, their are known issues being Posted on the ROG ASUS Forum Site.

    Looks like it may take a while for ASUS to release a working Bios.
    Gigabyte is also having problems with their X299 Motherboards.

    It's not only the Intel boards, but also the New AMD Motherboards also, and people don't know how to update their BIOS properly if there is one most of the time.. People are used to Generations past of the Bios being ready at launch most of the time. However with both Intel and the new Ryzen chips along with about 10x the Tech difference of old Motherboards and chips, manufacturers are going crazy with this Boom in new Technology.

    What I don't get is why one of them work but the other doesn't?

    So the consensus is that the 1050 won't work with the X299 ?

    It's been a while, so correct me if I'm wrong, but if the cards are in SLI (are they?), then the 2nd card works as a slave off the primary; in which case, both monitors, should run off the primary.  This might cause a problem with newer cards, that have only one DVI-I connector, and older monitors may only have support for DVI-I. I believe the Dell P1911 only supports VGA/DVI, so you might be SOL.   If you are not running in SLI, then ignore my post!

    Duh, that will teach me to pay attention. You're right of course. Then we're back to the motherboard possibly being the issue, I guess.

    You can no longer use PhotoBucket unless you pay them $400 for 3rd Party Post so no one can see your photo.

    At least NVIDIA Knows about the Issues with the X299 Chipset Motherboards.
    So their might be more issues then using to Two Graphics Cards other than SLI as noted below.
    From https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2697487
    From: onmybikedrunk
    I just wanted to let you guys know that I was escalated to top tier support with Nvidia and this was their final response:
    Hello Danny, We have an open bug for the reported issue. Nvidia is working with the x299 board vendors to make sure they get optimized. No ETA of a fix right now. Regards, Josh H. NVCC
    So for anyone facing this issue evidently they are aware of it.  Hopefully it gets fixed soon.   Cheers to all that chimed in!

    #1 You need to install some drivers.
    #2 Does the second card show a display if you move it to the pci-e slot where the working card is?

    #1 I'd love to...

    I tried with the CD that came with the GPU and it said the same thing. This is the latest driver direct from NVIDIA.

    #2 I'll check that next.

    That error can occur if you're trying to install 32-bit drivers on a 64-bit OS. It can also occur if you're running a older windows version than 1511.

    Yes
    1703 = 15063.xxxx
    1607 = 14393.xxxx
    1511 = 10586.xxx

    NVIDIA Only Supports 1511*, 1607 & 1703.
    *SLI Issue with 1080 Ti cards NVIDIA said I had to upgrade my OS to 1607.
