5 pages. A lot of thinking is going around. LOL

Seriously tho I hope you Classy switch will be a painless experience.

Had a lot of questions, and answers going on here. Also a lot of updates, and prices, etc. After I build the new one, this thread won't need to be used too much. If I have any problems or questions after the new build is complete, then I'll start a new thread to address that stuff.

EDIT: Make that 6 pages.      :P

You decide finally... I'm always happy when someone make right choice.
X99 is great platform. Next upgrade Lewisburg, six channel DDR4, Omni Path Architecture...
Better Skylake-Ex platform than "Bendlake".  I must find some cheap Xeon up to 500 euro...
I'm as you, I think a lot before some upgrade, for keyboard I think I change decision 5 times and than I decide to go with Hassium Pro from mechanical keyboards, I will order this week. I choose their tradition, classic look and translucent PBT keys over CORSAIR RGB circus.
Any keyboard could look monotonous after some time except normal classic.

Thanks. I know I will be happy. Heck, I was even happy with the 780i, and this P67. Now it's time to upgrade again. Trying to keep up with the times, as best I can. I do try to upgrade about every 3rd year on Motherboards. I upgrade more often with Graphics cards. BTW, I can never get tired of looking at my Logitech G15 Keyboard.        =)

Graphic cards are more important, but it's nice when you have strong platform.
Actually Haswell-E i7 processors and Skylake are overkill for gaming same as 4x TITAN X for 1080p resolution.
How much will cost i7-5930K?
My G510 is ruined. It's 5 years old. I send message to mechanical keyboard only to answer me about version of keyboard.
I want same as they had on picture with big fonts CTRL-WIN-ALT, not D instead Win keys and not small fonts.
If they had on pictures as I want probably they sell same.
These...Maybe I could choose and smaller...hmmm... It's nice for all purpose, laptops, desktop computers, everything...
But 43cm is much lower than mine G510 and than I decide for bigger keyboard.
Nicest keyboard on market, only PBT with LED light.

I like my G15 for the display. Shows FPS, temps, etc. Hopefully when Evga comes out with their Keyboard, it will have a display. I would upgrade if they come out with one like that. I saw a pic of it on the internet, and I think it does have a display too.

Not sure what circus you're talking about but my Corsair K95 RGB is freaking amazing.  I have a ton of profiles and matches my themed build.  Not sure if you should compare the two as the K95 has more features as I see a $149.99 to $174.99 pricetag on the Hassium Pro.  The K95 is a better buy.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

I know that keyboards are amazing, but I don't like that RGB function and Macro keys.
I don't use that Macro Keys and other functions. For me need only strong and good keyboard with
classic look and strong white LED, nothing else.
Hassium Pro cost 135$ on mechanicalkeyboards but that's not important, I will pay same as K70 RGB.
Because CORSAIR cost little more in Europe and Deck I need to import from USA and than price are similar very.
Look more durable and nicer keys.

This is with Brown

Xray, from my experience, I would have a usb drive with the latest bios loaded on it and ready just in case it don't have the latest bios. If the mouse and keyboard work on your first boot check bios version first and update quick before they freeze up on you. I had to do one manual reset.

Nice!

My board came last night.  All my hardware is here now.  I'm going to be pulling the plug on my X79 Dark and moving to the X99 Classy here pretty quick.  Just a few last minute things to prepare for...

Good luck guys with your motherboards.
EVGA really think on people in USA and I think it's not fair to people in America choose
other brand if they don't want strictly something what EVGA can't offer.
You see now ASUS is leader in production and motherboards and overclocked cards... but if that is not so important you than better to stay with EVGA because technical support.
I will not buy EVGA products any more, I say that before 2-3 months, but I have own reason and it's not domination in production binned and highly overclocked graphic cards last 2 years from ASUS but yes only reason is graphic card and difference how customers are treated because I cross on Republic of Gamers.
But to be honest USA guys had completely different treatment and I would shame to buy something else if someone treat me so good.
Europe have no single reason to choose EVGA, maybe some rear people who are treated better and similar as USA customers.

You see ASUS had probably biggest challenge in production graphic cards with 270MHz overclocked card with 250W Power Consumption.
If someone pay mostly so overclocked cards than understand how rear chips could pass barrier and work over 220-230MHz... Example of that is huge number of K|NGP|N cards who work barelly on fabric speed, big percent of card not capable to play games on fabric speed and even higher number of cards capable to overclock more than 20-30MHz over fabric speed around 200MHz OC by EVGA.
Whole time no one didn't force some story that ASUS Matrix Gold is some card with special need, completely crazy if temp pass 60C and similar things as we hear for K|NGP|N models. That's enough to one card be inferior... On capable only for LN2, other capable to work in any situation.
She is produce to people play games on 270Mhz overclock on 80-85-86C without problem and except that she have other advantages for LN2 and if you want that little drop of solder on two place and she is unlocked.
But advantages in LN2 environment didn't make that card bad for gaming on 80C.
Because of that people in USA I understand have good reason to choose EVGA but most elite EVGA cards are bitten for every day use by Matrix Gold not for 15 not for 30MHz... K|NGP|N clock is 120-6MHz... I see that as humiliation and joking because they ASUS go exactly with 12-66 MHz Clock.

How long have you Worked for ASUS?
I know of no other member on the Forum that Puts EVGA Products Down So Much, mostly Motherboards. But now even their Graphics Cards.
Most user issues I have seen are caused by the User Themselves for one wanting what they want and not bothering to use known compatible components. Second when it comes to Graphics Cards users seem to think that their 8 Year old Motherboard should support todays technologies and third users who own AMD Based Motherboards that out of Box do not support SLI and still buy and complain that they cannot get their cards to work.
Sorry but I had to say this.

The X99 Classy is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I'm going to try and purchase the Ram either tonight or tomorrow. I need to do this quick though, because I'm down to 1 stick of Ram. The other 3 have now gone bad. Getting the 9c error. Surprised I'm able to talk to you right now. LOL.

I also get two free "Light bar upgrade kits" with my Memory order (worth about $40 total):

*Ordered 2 day shipping. Only cost $12 for that.

Well I just ordered the Memory from Corsair directly, because they have the lowest price:

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/dominator-platinum-series-32gb-4-x-8gb-ddr4-dram-2666mhz-c15-memory-kit-cmd32gx4m4a2666c15

I also get two free "Light bar upgrade kits" with my Memory order (worth about $40 total):

http://www.corsair.com/en-us/dominator-platinum-light-bar-upgrade-kit

*Ordered 2 day shipping. Only cost $12 for that.

I could have saved $100 when I ordered mine but got in a hurry, Corsair and Newegg was out of stock so Amazon reemed me on mine.  >

LOL.

I know you're getting stoked about your new build...

I got mine done late last night...  Lots of software to install now & settings to tweak.

WOW!
           Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C14 memory kit for DDR4 Systems (CMK32GX4M4A2400C14)
I paid $422.99
Today they are only $189.99
Only 2400 MHz but needed low profile ram.

Edited:
I ordered a second set to see how 64 Gigabytes run, all for fun I could not pass up the price to move to 64GB of Memory.

I try not to look at prices..I get annoyed..lol (I think I paid $800+ for 64GB). Even though I might add another GTX 980 SC for folding with my EVGA bucks..the prices are down on that also.

The Evga X99 Classy was delivered today. The Corsair Ram was shipped out today. After paying for 2 day shipping, I really hope it gets here no later than this Friday. There's another upgrade I'm going to be doing, that I haven't mentioned, that I just decided on today. I'm also going to get the Evga 1300 G2 PSU. Someone told me that my current PSU might be killing my current Ram sticks. Figured I should play it safe. I will hopefully order that tomorrow. Also, when everything is ready, I'll do a new Mods Rig in that section. Excitement builds.

I have read, and heard many good stories regarding this type of build.

Why is the Corsair Memory shipping from Alaska? They are based in California. Sigh.

Did it get sent the wrong way?  I've heard of that happening before but don't think it was Corsair.  Its going to happen, especially during the holiday season with all this traffic.

Maybe they have a warehouse in Alaska. IDK. The ETA on the package say's Friday Dec. 11th. I hope it arrives on time.

No worries. My RMA on a PCS product hasn't been registered yet.

I will say, the new seasonal worker season makes me nervous.  I've already seen a few random household envelopes ripped open on the corners.  It doesn't take a genius to figure out what was going on.
