Not so much comic books, but I am more into manga and graphic novels.  I just recently got all 6 of the Akira books.

I started collecting comic books when DC introduced The New 52. I'm also reading a lot of comics from the Marvel Now and some from Image comics like Saga, Manhattan Projects, East of West.

I have one Tomb Raider comic from recent years.  I'm not a collector.  The style of the comic and the recognizable title "Tomb Raider" initially grabbed my attention.

Just came from the Comic Shop not more than 30 minutes ago haha.

I'm not sure I would call myself a "collector" though, I'm more interested in just reading them although I do hold on to them.  I don't really go looking for high value books like most collectors.

The monthly titles I read are:

    (DC)
    Action Comics
    Superman
    Superboy
    Supergirl
    Flash
    Justice League
    Justice League of America
    Animal Man
    Swamp Thing
    Batman
    Red Hood and the Outlaws

    (Marvel)
    Superior Spider-Man
    Indestructible Hulk
    Fantastic Four
    Iron-Man
    Venom
    Morbius
    Cable and X-Force
    Thunderbolts
    Deadpool
    Guardians of the Galaxy

Um probably forgetting a few.  I have full runs on almost all of them except for a few.  I've also been reading the Ultron mini-series.

Have you picked up Thanos Rising that came out a couple weeks ago? There's also another series that came out called The Age Of Ultron and it's REALLY good. I think they're on issue 5 right now.

Yes and yes.  When I said Ultron mini-series I actually meant Age of Ultron.  I'm a sucker for universal events even though many times they're poorly written.  Age of Ultron has been OK so far.  I'm hoping they pull something out of left field for the ending, (spoilers for issue 4) I'm really interested to see how Wolverine might try to solve this himself by killing Hank Pym.

As for Thanos Rising, it's hard to judge based on just a single issue, but it's really weird because it had you feeling sympathetic for a child who grows up to kill half the universe.  It's really hard to believe the contrast between his childhood and adulthood so hopefully they tie it together properly.

Haha, my thoughts exactly. After just the first issue I was like so this is the guy that obtains the infinity gauntlet and wipes out half the marvel universe??
