Hoping to receive some good news in 3 hours or so. I bought my 2080 Super at the end of July and chose an EVGA model SPECIFICALLY AND SOLELY because of the Step-Up Program. I don’t care when they honor it, so long as they eventually hold up their end of the deal. If they know they’re not going to be able to fulfill the upgrades from 20-30 series, they’ve known for quite some time now. If I end up screwed over, I can’t say that I’ll ever spend another penny on anything branded with an EVGA logo ever again, which is a real shame. I’m confident they’ll do the right thing. We’ll know soon enough. Fingers crossed.

Why 3 hours?

Probably due to the fact that EVGA will start selling it's RTX 3000 series card on 09/17.

Are the new cards going to be available on 9/17th EST or PST time?

1 day left for my step up on a 2080 ti black.
It cost me an arm and a leg on my limited budget.

Please, allow us to get on a waiting list from the date of the announcement.
This hurts so much...

The 2080 TI is still a great card! you just feel cheated, due to something new coming out and slightly beating it out. Welcome to the world of PC gaming, where there will always be something new on the market that might make you feel like crap about your purchase.

I just built a PC from Micro Center back on August 21. Ryzen 9 3800x, 32 gigs ram, 2070 Super KO. Spent around $1,900.00 on my first rig (already had a 144 hz gaming monitor) and had no idea about new cards coming out. I just didn't do the research. I found out about the step up program one day before having to buy an extended warranty. 67 days left on the program. If I am allowed the option to upgrade to a 3080 i'll gladly pay the difference in price and shipping for the extra performance boost (even though I may not even need it). If something isn't announced by the time the 67 days expires, who knows... Maybe I'll buy a 3080 in 2021 and sell the 2070 Super. $600-$700 for the new series isn't a lot of money in my opinion. If the super can hold up in 2021 I may just keep it and enjoy.

Currently no RTX 3080s are listed in the Step Up Queue.  I still have 33 days left.  As much as I would like enter the queue now, there are no valid step ups. The fastest gfx card listed is 2070 Super XC Ultra. I'm hoping this changes relatively quickly.

When do they show the 3080 on the step up program when it comes to EU? I want to upgrade from my 2080S.

When I go to start a new Step-Up I get the message "Unfortunately, StepUp program is not available for your country at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please contact EVGA Support with any questions or concerns." I wasn't seeing this yesterday when I went to Step-Up, so not sure if it's part of the new release or something?

I've got 39 days left and am in the UK. Is anyone else seeing this?

Is this due to them updating the step up page? I've not had a problem initiating a step up until today. Hoping to step up from a 2080 Super.

Anyone else in Canada trying to step-up? It doesn’t even show me a list of 20xx cards. Says “No Step-Up allowed” although it says 21 days left for step-up. I registered it the day after I got it. I’ve always wondered why in the FAQ they don’t have a list for Canada

New cards are showing on the EU stepup page.

Still getting the "StepUp program is not available for your country at this time." error though

Yeah, EU page has reverted back now. It did list all 3 that are currently on sale. We'll see when it turns 6am PDT i guess.

STEPPED UP! Man, I was really thinking today was going to be an awful day. Tried submitting it like four times and every time it said session expired, even though I didn’t waste a moment either attempt. Finally, I tried again and clicked everything as fast as possible and was greeted with, “You’re in the queue.” I’m in the queue! Good on you, EVGA. Proud of you. You’ve got a customer for life right here.

I just wanna say it here too, but I'm glad nothing was too depressing today as I tried my best trying to get to this website alone. Persistence is key and I stayed on for another hour, step up was having a hard time going through. Tried a few more times and it went through! I'm so happy. I hope this will be quick!

not just the FTW3, it's the Ultra version. Currently the fastest 3080 AIB right now. I'm actually ecstatic I got the step up.

Super glad to secure my place in the queue for the step up!

Now I wonder how long the wait will be.

Got in the quene too about an hour 16 min after launch! The website crashed repeatedly so I kept refreshing/submitting until it went through. Now the wait begins while I continue to game on my 2080S XC Ultra which I am happy with at the present time!

Was there anything other than the 3080 FTW3 Ultra available? I would have just gone with the XC3 base model but it wasn't available when the website finally started responding for me...
Anyways, I'm just glad to be in the queue. I was trying non-stop from 8:55 until I got an email confirmation at 10:24. I never actually got past the 'continue' button at step 2 without things crashing or becoming unresponsive but my product page confirms I'm in queue now so hopefully it's just a matter of waiting on stock now.
This is the first release I've tried to get in on. Yikes, what a roller-coaster. I feel lucky I didn't have to go through the frustration of not having a queue to join and just getting screwed repeatedly by the website servers while stock dries up immediately.

I'm in Canada and got in to the queue 30 minutes after launch after constantly reloading the page. Don't give up and make sure any VPN software is off ;)

Yeah, I saw that this morning and requested to step up to the  RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming. I received the confirmation email and uploaded my invoice. It's going to cost me $241.  But, it should be well worth it!

I'm in the US and it took some patience and persistence to get through the process.  First the web browser wouldn't even connect to the EVGA website.  Then there was an error after confirming my acceptance of the Privacy Policy.  Finally, after a few more tries I was able to request the RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming.  But it wasn't easy.

I'm in the queue for the RTX 3080 FTW3, although I didn't even attempt to get in until 15 minutes ago or so.

Is there any risk that being low down in the queue will ultimately mean I won't receive the card? I'm OK with it taking many months to get here. I just got the card that I'll be trading in for the Step-Up and would rather use it for a while, in fact. But I do want to get the 3080 eventually, of course.

I don't think that it will take many months as you were able to request early on Day 1.

Canada here as well. Worked out for me. I was only able to choose the FTW3 model and not the XC3.

Ended up only having to pay $11 for shipping. Technically, they OWED ME $16, but I’ve never been more happy to say “keep the change”. 🤣

I said screw it and did the Next Day for $23! Gotta have it asap lol but there's still a pandemic that could still delay shipping. You think they'd have the 3090 on the 24th to step up to?
