Does anyone know how long the elite ones were there for? Was it much easier then everything else or was it still pure luck?
I think they were exclusive to elite members for about an hour and forty minutes. I then tried after that for about a half hour for the FTW Ultra 3090.

shouldn't worry to much about the elite thing. I got the email last nite about it. I was checking and trying a couple mins before 9am, and consistently got errors or site not loading at all. 9:03 everything started to load normally but all out of stock. So no elite members werent treated specially. Most of us elite and associate code holders didnt even get a chance to buy a card.

Its nice that they are doing something for loyal customers.
However, I haven't bought new PC parts for quite some time, but all of my GPU's that are old are all from EVGA, and I'm rarely around for forums. It does sting a little to gate it t off. Just a little haha.

You would think the $1799 price tag is enough of a barrier to buying this card, but EVGA decided to lock purchases to memebers who have bought at least TWO big ticket items like GPU's or laptops in the past and remembered to register the purchases. Money is green, and all the other AIB's would be happy to just take my money without the velvet rope.

I Agree, Attn: Jacob and Daniel, In the future repeat this for all future gpu releases. Reward loyal customers with their own supply pool. I expect 3070 and 3060 to follow this trend.

I like this elite membership sale. make me feel like I'm on a VIP line getting into a Vegas nightclub.
But I'm ugly as f**k so they still turn me away.
So no 3090 for me today. Got all the way to payment verification before it crapped out.
Probably a good think because my wife would kill me since I just got the 2080Ti about a year ago.
Back to the 3080 line I go.

To iterate what was said before, being elite provided no benefit. I spent an hour and 43 minutes battling crash after crash, had my cart reset 4 times, got to the final confirm order button after putting my credit card info in, 4 times, only to have it fail for 30 more minutes on the very last click, and then finally when it did take, the item was removed from my cart and inventory was zero. So like others said, as great of a concept as it was for Elite members to have a chance at a card, it still gave us no advantage since we couldn't buy the card anyway due to poor store/site function.

Except the system didn't work. I'm an Elite Member. I tried from 5:59 to 8:30am and got nothing but site error after site error. After an hour got the place order page and it glitched out and the order never went through. Pathetic job Evga. 2 wasted hours. You guys had a week after the 3080 debacle to prepare and failed again. I hope you guys get reamed on social media for this. Evga deserves it.

I also think they should give this option for the 3080. It's super awesome they're doing something for brand loyalty customers. I've only ever bought from EVGA and I actually scored myself a card today because of it.

Let's break it down. If you've purchased multiple items to be "elite" you have a special window in which you can purchase all top tier cards. Basically giving a one hour window just for bots... Epic stupidity..
There was a limit to the number you can order per account. So you think scalpers will write a bot to post 100 posts before every launch to obtain elite status?

I was spamming f5 at 9:00 site loaded slowly, By 9:06 i was able to check out my 3090 ftw3 ultra. I checked back 10 minutes later and both ftw3 were still avalible.

If they are selling to customers of EVGA who have been customers and qualify for a status that's acceptable. I would prefer that to happen over bots any day. Still not sure why I didn't get the email though. You should take care of your own first. Loyal customers should have first opportunities.
