As far as I know, you can't.  EVGA doesn't tell people where they are in the queue and the customer support people can't access it.  Most likely out of privacy reasons.

You can't. EVGA private company and don't want to show how many products they sell. We were able to collect some data using sequential Notify ID, but as soon we did it, EVGA removed this ID from page source.

Queue moved from 10:00:14 to 10:00:22 (8 seconds) yesterday. We don't have notify ID for those timestamp, but we have for 10:00:31(41 notify within 17 seconds from :14). So, we can estimate how big last drop was: 41 / 17 * 8 ~ 19 motherboards.

I've had a busy day at work today so I wasn't on here much, but looking back, it looks like rblaes_99 and oldmanian got their notifications. Seems like a few folks are passing on account of lack of rear USB IO. Tuanmassey had a cool link for an internal 2.0 hub and there are about a million external usb hubs on the market, but both of those cost more money than the price this thing already is, so you have to do what fits your needs. I have ran into the internal header limitation before when it comes to AIO's wanting one. I suppose it makes sense the other pwm/rgb hubs might ask for one too in some setups so I can see people wanting more. It seems to me this FTW is targeted at gaming and 24/7-OC users...with a few options for every other need (like 4 rgb headers on the board...4 more than I've ever had lol), but not every bell and whistle you could ask for. I don't think we've seen the back panel for the Dark, but I'd be surprised if it had a lot more USB ports. I have no idea what people are using thunderbolt for (sorry), but I can answer the PS/2 port question. PS/2 keyboards allow multi-key (or N-key) rollover, where that can be a problem for USB. So there are some mechanical keyboards that still use PS/2 ports for this functionality and some (mostly just) competitive gamers believe strongly that it makes a difference to their gameplay. I don't have experience in their usage to argue that point, but I can guarantee they're out there demanding support and I'm betting that's why it exists.
 
In any case, some folks passing leads to other folks waiting in line getting their board, so everybody wins lol.

i think you can use the thunderbolt as a display signal right?  like mentioned above no idea who uses those things.  

Well, I did some research on the asus maximus board, it’s really buggy apparently. I’ll wait for the evga z590ftw, I have seen the error in my ways ;)

If you guys are worried about bugs I would wait, users of old ftw board still have broken wifi and bluetooth from reading the forum here.

I believe it is leftovers. Regular drop should be more boards.

 ^ Yes this. Those 8 would likely be the unclaimed ones from the first batch of ~80 that went out.
