This is my first nvidia card in many years, so if there's an obvious solution please don't assume I've heard it.

I installed driver v512.59 from EVGA.
There are no RGB options in the control panel that I can find.

I installed Precision X1 v1.3.3
If I arrow to the right and left there is nothing RGB related.
The LED Sync button is greyed out.

EVGA said that if you own any item with RGB it can be controlled with X1, including a single graphics card.

Any help is appreciated.

SOLVED:
After I initially installed the card and driver, I restarted and tested. I ran into performance issues, no RGB control, control of 2 of 3 fans, then started seeing blinking red lights near the power connections. This time instead of restarting I tried a cold boot and when I opened X1 it immediately asked to update the firmware. When I did it solved all of these issues.

It wouldn't initiate the process unless it was a cold boot. That's a difference that should be noted. Not simply, updates are important...

For your PC & OS to see the new hardware:  BIOS Fast Boot has to be Off & Windows Fast Startup has to be Off & shutdown with shift key held .. to "clear restart, hardware file"

Once you installed the GPU, that first boot was a cold boot ... if the "system" failed to see the hardware change it is because it was not looking for any change.  Or the Windows file from previous start was used & Windows was "blind to the hardware change"

Anyone get the idea that EVGA tries to tie you into using Precision by it being pretty mandatory to install just to get normal operation out of your GPU on first use?
Never could get Eleet to work properly either. Then again I am an outlier in trying to keep as little junk as possible on my system. Probably part of the reason you rarely see me  complain about system issue. Even resumes every time from the  'dangerous'  sleep mode.
