I bought a 2080 Ti at launch from Amazon two years ago without any issue. The bots have become a huge problem.

I tried to grab one during the Newegg release too but was 5 minutes late. Not sure what went wrong...I thought I had finally survived a release and the bots had missed it. But I still didn't get one...just a few minutes late still matters. It's frightening that you have to get on it in the first heartbeat.

I managed to snag one. Just have everything set up so all you need to do is enter your security code on your CC and accept terms when checking out. Mine has shipped and will arrive Oct. 1st.

I bought the 3080 FTW3 on my phone with Apple Pay as soon as I saw it updated, but got my order voided 30 minutes later. Killed all my motivation to get one of these cards...haven't refreshed since

Same...the only notifications I have gotten are from random discord groups that have a bot set up to notify of new releases. Newegg has never sent a single email

I think nowinstock pulls every 5-15 minutes and by the time it goes and checks the URL of said website they are already gone, causing no notification to be sent. 😔😢😞

I guess the bright side is that apparently, all but the FE versions are having issues which may be due to hardware design.
From what I've seen, the Asus TUF cards don't have any issues either. Now long term with 0 POSCAPs could cause problems that we don't know about yet, though. Dble0solja

THIS is what I've been saying. Let us do a Pre-Order so I don't have to play this "beat the scalper bot" game anymore. I don't mind waiting a week, 2 weeks or even a month as long as I have that peace of mind that I don't have to keep refreshing pages in hopes of getting a new card. It really baffles my mind that none of these companies have thought about doing this.

I'll try on the next restock but after my last experience with the EVGA site I'll just be waiting for my Strix pre order after that. It looks like the better card anyways.
