Same. I had it in my card seconds after I got the alert but it was taken from my cart after being directed back from PayPal. Refreshed the page and it said it was still in stock but then Newegg told me I was a bot. This is impossible.
 
On the bright side, the site didn't crash and people in the nvidia reddit discord are actually reporting getting it. So even if they are a tad aggressive it's possible that the anti bot protection is doing something. I doubt I'll have another chance where I just happen to be sitting on my PC when the alert comes again, but good luck to everyone else. As long as I get one by the end of October I'll be happy.

same **** happened on bestbuy.. msi 3080.  was in cart.. 3 min of trying to get it to process.. it boots me.

I guess the bright side is that apparently, all but the FE versions are having issues which may be due to hardware design.

There is a lot of speculation, but Jacob did address the capacitor theory in another post. While there are definitely reports of issues, I think it's too early to blame it on hardware or say it is an issue across the board.
 
I've been around EVGA long enough to know that whatever happens, they'll stand behind their product and make it right. They swapped my 1080 back when there were reports of bad components with no questions asked. I also got burned by a second hand 1060 and had no issues with the RMA process. I'm still holding out for a 3080 FTW3.

Customers can't compete with bots......Please fix this issue.  DO PREORDERS and let customers stand in line.  This model is broken in favor of bots and reseller's not customers.

That's all they need to do is once you have in your cart. It takes it away from the stock so you can finish you order.

Even the FE versions are having issues, and despite the recent POSCAP update by EVGA, that might not actually be the fix to the crashing problems, as numerous other manufacturers who also had the 4+20 layout, and even the TUF that uses 6 x 10 MLCC arrays crashes.
It's sounding more and more like even if there is a hardware fault, it might not be just solely that, and could also be driver related.  Being mostly a driver problem is actually the best news if that's the main culprit.

15 minutes later got a order voided email due to insufficient stock..
it's never been this hard to throw $900 at a company.

I spent 95 minutes straight trying to throw $1900 at a company. It sucks. But considering the launch issues popping up, maybe it's a good thing to get the second wave. 

Had an FTW3 in my cart and right when I hit the review order button, it yanked the card from my cart and I never saw it again. 

I actually got flagged for being a bot and they suspended my IP address from purchasing because I clicked on the put to cart to many times because it was saying in stock but did not go in my cart. On another note got the now instock alert on my phone had a 3090 in my cart went to secure chech out and asked me to log in again and took like 10 seconds and than gone from my cart lol.
 

Same. Saw it the moment it came up, only to repeatedly get the cart error and eventually got the message saying I was a bot. Tried from the iOS app on cellular, same cart error. Tried Apple Pay, which has worked multiple times before in the app, only to get a "we don't serve your area" message. Frustrated, but I guess I'll just have to wait for any potential FTW stock this week from EVGA...
