Does it HAVE to update my MCU or BIOS?
Why cant i just use the new PX1 for the fixed task scheduler issue?
I dont want to be the beta tester again... had engough of that for months.

Ok, Updated everything. I can't set the power target on X1 no more after upgrade. The slider does not work anymore.
I'm on a X570 Taichi, Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra.

Do you have the latest mb bios updated and resizable bar enabled in it?

Man why cant they just release standalone bioses. Precision X1 wont let me update my 3080 with my second gpu plugged in lol, it wont let me switch to the 3080 in the resisable bar tab, only shows the 3060ti. Just ridiculous hassle for no purpose. Now i gotta unplug it again, restart, update, plug it in again etc etc. EVGA please just put the bioses up so we dont have to use this ridiculous software^^

yeah it crashes my computer. Check list for BAR 1. New Bios that supports BAR 2. New Nvidia drivers 3. New GPU VBIOS

Hey guys,
I updated my EVGA 3080 FTW Ultra to the latest vbios for Resizable Bar. I have a Z390 Aorus Master with the F11n bios (latest) which includes Resizable Bar support. When the system rebooted after update the vbios, i got no picture on my screen. I ended up switching my video card to the other bios and was finally able to get back into the system. I disabled Resizable Bar in the bios, switched it back to the update vbios and the system booted fine but still no resizable bar.
Gigabyte has not posted an updated bios. Not sure where the disconnect is between the motherboard and gpu. Wondering if the Z390 was never meant to support Resizable Bar...

FYI, if anyone has a 3090 Kingpin with the 1000w XOC vBios, don't flash to the new RBAR vBios. It'll gimp your power limit and clocks.

So this is the first time I have seen PX1 flashing the bios itself. Does PX1 V1.1.8 require a new driver to be installed after flashing?

Just disable CSM in Z390 bios, and enable resizebar, works for me. You need to reset the bios to be able to access it. Boot page, CSM SUPPORT: DISABLE
