So according to Nvidia's CES talk and this website

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/geforce-rtx-30-series-resizable-bar-support/

Does that mean EVGA will provide all the RTX3000 owners with new VBIOS that would enable this feature? If so what would be the expected roll out schedule?

Once the update Is made available from NVidia, EVGA will be able to provide the update. It reads that it will be at least March before we see the update though.

Our Game Ready Driver with Resizable BAR support will be released alongside the GeForce RTX 3060 in late February.

Don't forget that the motherboard needs to support the resizable BAR, of which only the Z490 has in EVGA's lineup.

When I asked about their flagship X299 line I got a boilerplate response with the Z490 as the only confirmed motherboard.
"We have released a BIOS update for our Z490 based motherboards however I cannot guarantee that we will release an update for the X299 series for the function. I apologize for any inconvenience."

Even though support for BAR has been a part of Intel's lineup for a long time:
"It gets more interesting—Intel processors have been supporting this feature since the company's 4th Gen Core "Haswell," which introduced it with its 20-lane PCI-Express gen 3.0 root-complex. This means that every Intel processor dating back to 2014 can technically support Resizable-BAR, and it's just a matter of motherboard vendors releasing UEFI firmware updates for their products (i.e. Intel 8-series chipsets and later). AMD extensively advertises SAM as adding a 1-2% performance boost to Radeon RX 6800 series graphics cards. Since this is a PCI-SIG feature, NVIDIA plans to add support for it on some of its GPUs, too. Meanwhile, in addition to AMD 500-series chipsets, even certain Intel 400-series chipset motherboards started receiving Resizable BAR support through firmware updates."

The support should happen in every motherboard afterwards so it should be a good improvement.

Resizeable BAR seems to be the CPU-facing technology for making the entire VRAM addressable from CPU.   I assume it's a tunneling abstraction layer which effectively performs the same function as RTX-IO allowing direct communication between the GPU and SSD over PCIE bus.

It seems that these two technologies hold tremendous potential to improve card performance in revolutionary ways, and I'm very excited for both of them.   My hope is that RTX-IO and Resizeable BAR significantly reduce the load time of DAZ Studio .duf scene files, since they are essentially just enormous compressed text files with textures that have to be loaded into VRAM.

When can we expect to see RTX-IO as a supplement to BAR?

They can't prevent you from rolling back the BIOS on the current cards.  So your speculation is just spreading false rumors.

NVIDIA not release support resizable bar bios yet .
The time I know now is about the end of March .
All BIOS NEED NVIDIA RELEASE TO PARTNER .
Because NVIDIA made the mining card now ,
So I think the new gaming card bios ,
May cut mining 50% performance .

i wouldn't care honestly. I don't mine Ethereum. and the BIOS limit doesnt affect anything other than ETH mining, so yes I would use it.

I don't think resizable BAR will make much difference for the kinds of compute processing I'm doing though.

I asked this somewhere else, but no response.

I apologize for the lack of knowledge, but does anyone know if reBAR is affected at all by hardware accelerated gpu scheduling?
Would HAGS and reBAR work in tandem?
Should I disable HAGS if I have reBAR enabled?

    Thanks in advance
