Will the Black Edition - which I believe is equal to FE model get that much better with the hybrid cooling?
All the cards should get better temps with the hybrid card. No reason why they shouldn't. It will also allow for higher overclocks

Since I already bought a Zotac 2080 Ti triple fan and if this hybrid kit lets the card stay under 50C under load, which seems plausible given how 1080 Ti hybrid performs, I can have a stable 2100Mhz OC. Comparing to the stock fan cooler which runs at around 70C under load, that's about 60Mhz clock difference. Is 60Mhz and less noise worth ~200 dollars? For me it is but that it might not be the case for everybody.
Hello, The kits are made for EVGA cards, not sure they fit on Zotac unless it's a FE board i believe.

Thanks for the reminder. I believe the two launch Zotac cards (amp and triple-fan) are both reference pcb so these kits should fit. If I'm mistaken I'll just give it to my friend

Please see previous posts regarding this in the thread. No ETA so far according to Jacob at EVGA. Previous suggestions have been "end of December" but that seems to be regarding the FTW3 Hybrid kits. The date for actual pre-assembled cards is uncertain. Personally I just hope we get them before next generation Nvidia is out... xD

I hope not. It would have been nice for them to at least say beforehand oh these are just XC kits and not the FTW Kits.
Looks like more waiting. EVGA has really dropped the ball this year with everything regarding the 2080ti

It's previously been "should be this month" regarding FTW3 Hybrid kits... :/
Unfortunately for those of us looking for the preassembled cards it seems we can stop F5-ing...
When asked if we should stop hoping for the cards at the moment:

I have a auto refresh at work. It just looks for text changes. So it will alert me when it happens.

Yea EVGA is always late with the hybrid versions. Ftw3 also takes longer than normal version. Pisses me off, nearly bought the aorus version but meh got the ftw3 and i'll get a kit instead waiting is incredibly annoying. They should learn from this. This wait time is steering away their customers be it a better product or not.

Yea well there's one dude in here that made the switch and that doesn't count anybody who didn't come to the forumns and got pissed at waiting. But you're right EVGA's products feel much nicer than many other brands if not all in the gpu market.

Ended up doing Step-Up from my 1080ti to the XC Black, looking forward to installing a hybrid cooler if they are available again!
