So then what is the ETA on actual Hybrid cards? Not the kit. Next month? Next Year?
I NEED to know this as well.
I need to know also, because if they won’t hit this year I’ll need to get a card from B&H and order my kit from here. It kills me that I built a machine for a client and now I can’t pick up a second card for me from the EVGA store. FFS the cards have been listed since September, open up the allowed quantity 😑

U and me both, the only reason I'm holding out is the lack of ICX2 type monitoring and rgb compatibility. With as much bling as my case will have these non-syncing fans and what not will stick out like a sore thumb....but if Newegg starts selling these super cheap on accident like they did with the Sea Hawk X I might have to jump on it lol.

It's the radiator fan that's loud on the 1080 hybrid. It goes full speed all the time. I ended up getting a better fan and connected to the mobo instead. Supposedly this version is going to have a controllable rad fan. I rarely hear the pump in mine.

I always connected my fan to the mobo. Best way i believe.

Same. Pair of nf-a12's on mine ran through the mobo with x2 temp sensors on gpu/vrm, card fan/pump fixed at 60%. No louder than anything else in the case and keeps my sc2 below 50deg. Nice solid card at 2076mhz on heaven but still crave the rtx!

It was for kits i believe. It slipped next week (monday/tuesday) i think. But for the premade hybrid cards, no info, well not that i've seen.

Was waiting for the premade Hybrid series to come out, but decided to jump on the FTW3 version that popped up on sale today instead. Gonna suck going from my 980 ti hybrid to the regular fan version for the 2080 ti, but I can always upgrade to the hybrid later.

I also got tired of waiting for the Hybrid and bought the FTW3, upgrading from a 1080 ti Hybrid. I thought I would miss the Hybrid, but my max temps are 64c. My Hybrid pump always seemed loud...the new FTW 3 is actually quiet compared to my old card.
