Sales tax in florida?
evga has always charged me sales tax for florida =(. Newegg and Amazon don't. **edit** According to florida business law, you are technically suppose to pay sales tax on internet items you bring into the state. They expect you to self report it on websites that dont charge it. How they actually enforce it if you buy exclusively from a place that doesn't charge tax, I have no idea. On another got my FTW3 pre-order yay ^_^. Now to wait for another FE to be become available so I can sli my primary rig.

rarely get charged by Amazon unless the item is being shipped from inside the state of Florida. Most of my amazon purchases seems to be from out of state. Then again, 99% of my purchases are prime so not sure it makes a difference.

Amazon when sold form Amazon doesn't charge you tax? They have been charging me tax since there new little rule at the start of the year even though they don't have any wearhouse in my state

Depends on state laws for sales tax, if they have an agreement, and do they do physical business in the state. Starting the 1st I will have to start paying tax on Amazon in NM based on an agreement made in the face of pending legislation.

lol yep on the first day I got the auto notify at 4pm yesterday lol good thing I was not waiting around for it ,and ended up just going the step up route

it's better than the 1080 release though at least they aren't letting to many people pre order. Stock seems to be a little better for the 1080ti especially if your not in usa

No idea, we got a boat load of EVGA products unpacked today in my amazon center and will be all live soon but I didn't see any 1080Ti's Just a bunch of PSU's and tons of previous gen 1080's 1070's 1050's etc. Almost an endless sight, it's beautiful

Actually the mishandling of the 1080 release saved me a too-hasty purchase. I was ready to buy two cards, but of course couldn't. Sober second thought set in and I realized I could wait to upgrade. I've bought only EVGA cards for quite some time, but, until the 1080 release, always in-store. So I had no idea about this whole pre-order hassle. I'm pretty sure I will eventually get a couple 1080 ti's, but I now have time to reconsider which brand they come from.

EVGA has impressed me with there customer service so I usually recommend them. But it's not to say if a killer deal was out for another brand I wouldn't say don't get it.waiting for my step up to be shipped back :X can't wait to test some games on the 1080ti
