Wait until someone's falls over a mall railing. I've heard reports of people walking into trees. They could at least have used an augmented reality option so people could see where they're going.

Many complaints about trespassing on private property. The residents don't appreciate these people parking in their driveways and wandering across their front yards. Time is coming soon I hope where everyone effected collectively sues the game developer.

I hope not, this is in no way Nintendo's responsibility. This is all on the user and THEY are the ones who should be sued. Would you prosecute a baseball bat company for some lone crazy man who goes on a killing spree? No, because the man is the one responsible, not the company who made the product. We already have enough frivolous litigation going on as it is.

Apparently a few people in my area have "pokemon" in their house. People are coming up to the homes and demanding to be allowed in so that they can capture them. Everyone I have spoken to so far has denied them entry and the players all got extremely upset. I have heard reports that some memorials have had to request to be exempted because people were climbing all over the monuments. I am genuinely happy that this is the first big augmented reality game. I can't wait to see what the future holds, but I have no desire to get involved in the whole Pokemon thing. That's why I have Pokemon No installed in chrome. To simply filter out most of the news about this. As far as placing blame on the game dev, correct placement in my opinion. They shouldn't be placing pokemon in non public places unless the verified owner of the property is willing to opt into being on the map. I'd be pissed if people were coming to my door demanding to be let inside over wanting to catch some pokemon.

Been hearing stories about this on the radio... interesting dilemma here. I could be morbid and agree with the 'culling the herd' comments, but in reality there are little kids playing this. I've also heard media reps stating it's "bad parenting" if a child gets out of their sight while playing this. My comment is "Awe nutz!"... I didn't have Pokémon when I was 8yrs old, think they'd just invented Atari, and I still ran away from my mom in the store and talked to strangers, etc. my parents were protective to a healthy extent, but still... my curiosity overwhelmed them sometimes; it happens.
Should be some interesting legal battles coming up for this...

My take on it is that its getting kids moving around and that is not a bad thing really.... is it? My son is getting out of the house and roaming the park down the street hunting them. I personally love it. Also the church in our neighborhood is a gym so it is all good.

It's a sad state of affairs when players walk blindly along unaware of their surroundings. There has already been one killing in North Philly just to steal some idiot's smart phone while he was wandering around one the highest crime rate neighborhoods in the entire city with his eyes glued to the screen instead of noticing the man approaching him with a gun in his hand at 11:00 pm at night.

I don't understand why it's so popular, but I'm happy it is. I bought Nintendo stock before the WiiU came out hoping it would be 1/2 as successful as the Wii. Unfortunately it's been anything but successful.
Now their stock is slightly above what I paid and I can finally remove this 5 years of financial burden from my life. :D

With all of the stupidity on the part of the players I figured it was just a matter of time before someone put their foot down at the government level trying to save everyone from themselves. Walking over 90 ft cliffs. Driving into a pole because you're staring at your phone. Jumping fences at the zoo. Breaking into cemeteries vandalizing monuments and mausoleums. Banging on people's door in the middle of the night. Getting run down crossing 8 lanes of 65 mph traffic because you were looking at your phone instead of where you were going. The list goes on forever. After this game thins the herd of all of the dumb people the intelligence level of the remaining population can only go up.

I could not agree more. Pokémon Go while driving on the expressway... I bet insurance companies are having a field day. And from my opinion, dumbest idea ever, and I'm sick of hearing about Pokémon Go.
