Im in the same situation. But I would go for the 1080 hybrid kit and mod it. Before begining the project, if evga could just tell us if yes or no they will sell a hybrid kit design for Titan X Pascal. I think at this point it would help a lot of people.

thanks

Well hopefully we'll hear something one way or the other soon, since I'm verging on dropping about 700 bucks on a custom loop from ek instead for the 2 cards. The wishlist is ready and waiting, I'd just rather not go through the hassle of doing a loop myself when a hybrid will suffice for day to day OC'ing / use.

Why are they waiting? They still have multiple card released prior to the Titan X(P) that haven't gone into full release, since May. If you don't have the patience for it to be completed, then buying 3rd party (since evga would be 3rd party anyway) isn't a bad thing.

Post back on how it works.

Yeah no, looked into it, aside from it being ugly as all sin, the build quality is somewhat lacking (though not corsair n980 bad, most of the issues I've heard are based on their screws being somewhat poor quality, the aio cooler itself is just a run of the mill asetek unit) and the vrm cooling is almost as weak as nzxt's g10, especially in sli (axial fan won't get much air compared to a radial blower in a tight space). Added to that, the axial fan supposedly gets pretty loud, even compared to the stock blower in a hybrid.

Not to mention the big ass heatsink sticking out out the back for no good reason beyond giving hot air of gpu2 a place be pushed onto the vrm's of gpu1.

Basically, it's not a good option in an sli setup. EDIT: Though thinking on it, EVGA's 10-series hybrid might not work so great either, since they swapped the blower for what looks like a fan from their acx coolers this time around.

Wait if I saw good on EVGA GTX1080 FTW Hybrid and memory will be cool.
Some plate cover video memory and temperature will be good.

I saw that as well but the mem doesn't need really much cooling to begin with.

It's better than naked. People love to push video memory +500 offset and even if no real improvements.
I keep my memory on stock and she can 200MHz (+400).
People on that way only increase chance to video memory die, improvement is so little and it's not worth of risk.

Just bought my parts to make a CPU, and two GPU custom loop from EK. Can't wait!

Honestly, EVGA is awesome but they've been very slow in their product rollouts this year for some reason. They are still trying to get their 1080/1070 hybrids out the door; yet alone news of their custom 1080 block for custom loop systems. Seeing how frustrated everyone in the hybrid forum is, I'm not waiting till Christmas for EVGA to *possibly* release a hybrid cooler for the Titan Xp, a card they don't even sell.

This is a sad day as the only EVGA part in my computer will be their HB SLI bridge.

So guys, just finished installing and testing the Arctic Cooling Hybrid kit.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided: Temps were hitting 84 Celsius when running 2560x1440 max graphics (except MSAA because that sucks right now in Deus Ex).
With the cooler they now cap at 54 Celsius AND I gained an extra 8 fps on average. I can now also overclock without much fear.

All in all, the cooler is working great in my opinion. I will say this...this thing is UGLY, if that's going to bother you then stay away from this cooler. If you prefer performance over looks I say grab this thing for $99 you can't beat it.

MAYBE I will pick up some other hybrid cooler in the future if it boasts better cooling and looks nicer.

Do you think your results were better than with any evga's hybrids?
Also what were your Desu Ex average FPS before applying the cooling, when you had 84 C?

The regular EVGA 1080 AiO Hybrid kit works fine, but it takes some modifications to get it to fit.

You have to cut the shroud around the second power connector, and cut out a square near the vrm for what I assume is part of the extra power phase. You also have to pull the thermal pads off of the original shroud and line them up on the EVGA shroud since it's meant to cover the VRAM of the 1080, not 12GB on the Titan.

That being said, it works quite well, and will work in SLI.

Im at the point of decision. Buy a 1080 Aio Hybrid kit and mod it. Or wait and hope to have one day an answer from evga if yes or no they will release a Titan X Pascal hybrid kit.

A simple yes or no is all we need...

Hey,

I've stopped worrying. If you're going to spend 1000$ on a gpu get a ekwb AiO for gpu.

Go hard or go home.

I put the EVGA 1080/1070 Hybrid on my Titan X and I couldnt be happier! It was a learning process because I have not attempted something like this before but it wasn't bad and I would totally do it again!

I put the 1070/1080 Hybrit on my Titan X and its working splendid but it wasnt as easy as some people made me belive. I had to cut the heatsink on 5 places to make it fit.

I only had to modify the power connector spot and for the additional VRM near the fan. Weird you had to modify it so much and mine fit. At least it cools this monster very well!!

I dont know why nobody from evga cant comment on this hybrid kit. On the 1080 hybrid, they answer a lot of questions and did a good follow up of the progression.
One of the possible reason I can think of is, with the new hybrid kit for the 10 series, they combine 1080 and 1070 in the same kit. If they know a gtx 1080 ti is on the way and use the same pcb as the Titan pascal, why release a Hybrid Titan pascal only?

2 Hybrid kits. 1 for the 1070 and 1080 and 1 for the 1080 ti and Titan P ?

Honestly it would be wonderful to see a 1080ti but there have been few if any leaks on it unlike cards like the 1070 and 1080 had, heck the Titan had its fair share of leaks as well as the 1060. If there is a 1080ti then Nvidia found their leaks at the high end and fixed them.

I doubt there will be a 1080 Ti.

I think that the Titan X Pascal is filling that gap.

Nvidia is a company like any other to make always more cash. 1080 ti will give them more cash so will see. Maybe they changed their plan and will release a new architecture quicker but I really doubt. They do not have any competition so they rule the game!

Back to Hybrid kit, I hope they will do the kit for the Titan. I might buy the 1080 kit and mod it to fit but I would prefer just install something design for it. It would be a shame to buy the 1080 kit and 1 week later the titan kit comes out...

Thats why a simple yes or no from EVGA would help a lot!!

Pretty certain that someone has stated this somewhere on this thread... Nvidia warranty is not the same as EVGA's warranty. EVGA's far surpasses Nvidia's any day in anyone's life. Speculation: Chances are they are probably in the written negotiation stages with Nvidia, because this would require the user to take off Nvidia's shroud, which (in theory), could void the warranty (or totally void the warranty in this case), if Nvidia wanted to say so. So, it really sounds like they are working out a negotiation, or this whole thing is a no/go, because of the plan above, and you're all wasting your time. Even though EVGA is Nvidia's best OEM partner, each company still has to follow warranty guidelines. Let's hope that choice is A is the matter of what could possibly taking so long. We can't forget that lawyers are probably involved in it too, regarding the warranty. This is what I'm thinking, don't take my word for it.

Secondly, Not quite sure none of you have posted this on Nvidia's forum page, titling "Petition for EVGA Titan X Hybrid kit"; Nvidia techs don't really come on this site.

EVGA cannot just come straight out and say "Yes! There will be a Hybrid kit coming!" This will never happen, nor will they hint to you that it's coming until it's finally released. Both Nvidia and EVGA have to come to an agreement, and mostly this will be a yes or no answer from Nvidia, not EVGA. Nvidia is the one that's going to honor the warranty for the video card, not EVGA, EVGA is only providing the cooler. This is the problem that I see on why it's taking so long; sounds like it's never been done before. Lots of negotiations everywhere.

Look at it this way. Evga wants the money that the Titan X card would bring but Nvidia is hogging that. Now Evga wants to get a piece of it and get money from an AIO cooler for it. If Evga does this, the sales of Titan X may increase so Nvidia would say Yes if they look at it like that but they would have demands that Evga would have to meet. If Evga does not wish to meet those they have to come up with some that both companies like. If and when that is done, it would only be a matter of weeks until you see this cooler and likely a response from Evga.

Yeah, true. I forgot about that as well. Nvidia will surely want their money grab also.
