I'm very happy for all of you who managed to get one. Question remains now if it's worth waiting for EKWB's solution or MSI's? Having a hard time getting convinced EU will see the Hybrid in April. Would love it of you could post an image or video of the hybrid kit when you are done though. :)

Ek won't release until at least July and I didn't know msi had a kit coming.

After owning the Titan XP and seeing what kind of heat it puts out under load, I feel like the 1080Ti is going to drive the demand for water cooling solutions through the roof. I hope this prevents anything like what happened this time around for Titan X and even 1080Ti owners from happening again. It seems like a lot more people than just the ones in this forum are ready to throw money at anyone at this point (and 6+ moths prior) that can make something short of a custom loop solution. I think the market is going to change after this lesson and hopefully EVGA and Nvidia understand the Titan X owners need solutions from day 1.
 
This was my first time going Titan X and man, did I learn a lot. I feel like I was left in the dark for using an enthusiast-level graphics card. I mean this is the best consumer card Nvidia sells and they don't give it adequate cooling or even include a free game with it (yes, that bothered me). I know everyone will argue, "it's for deep-learning, not gaming," but they advertised it as a GeForce GTX card and advertised it as the biggest and baddest at gaming. And I know people will say, "if you can afford the card, you can afford the game," but that's not the point. The point is this is the best consumer product from Nvidia and it should get the best in customer service and attention. Instead, I was left feeling more alone than when I owned a 2013 Mac Pro. If it comes down to a choice between the next gen Titan X and Vega or something equivalent I will go that route if there are no decent cooling solutions around. This has overall been a pretty bad and expensive decision to go Titan X. Overpriced card, inadequate cooling, G-SYNC costs more than FreeSync by a lot, can't cool it with water unless modding an existing kit or using custom loop, getting told a hybrid kit is "on the way" for months, .....*sigh*.........
 
To EVGA, Nvidia, and any other company that reads this, please do better. This was a terrible experience and I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Installed, instructions are still pretty generic but I figured it out. Threw a couple ap-14 gentle typhoons on it. Idling at 25C.

Nice.  I have a couple Corsair high static pressure fans arriving Friday, the same day I get the cooler.
