Nereus Well I've just tried 3 times to order a Titan XP from NVidia.com and I keep getting "Payment authorization failed, please try again or use another payment method." Address is correct etc etc., there is enough credit on there to buy 10 of those cards, and I don't want to use another card because I get cashback points... grrrr. Guess NVidia just lost a $1,200 sale (actually just over $1,300 with tax). Back to the 980Ti and maybe see if a 1080Ti comes out? I'll give it one more try. **a few minutes later** ..LOL, guess they heard me.. 4th attempt worked. Soon to be a Titan XP owner -something I hope I won't regret in a few months if a 1080Ti comes out with same specs for $300 less. I just hope EVGA don't change their mind about making a AIO cooler for the Titan XP after saying they definitely will be, just no ETA yet... that was what pushed me over the edge to go for it (well that, and being up to RMA#3 on the 1080 Hybrid and going for a refund instead)..

_iMLG_So I guess to me, this is a bit frustrating. The 1080 gets the golden treatment with custom PCBs and coolers and the Titan XP, the enthusiast card, gets placed aside. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for this hybrid kit from EVGA for the Titan XP, but shouldn't this card get some form of special treatment? I mean this is the ultimate card for gamers. Granted, it easily can qualify as overkill, but that's the point! I understand that not nearly as many people order Titan cards, but they are the enthusiast/premium product. I am really unhappy with Nvidia for not allowing third-party access to this card after jacking the price up another $200 from last gen. They know as well as we do that 70-100% fan speed for a decent overclock is not ideal. There must be someone at Nvidia with one of these cards thinking, "What if it didn't have to sound like a jet taxiing on a runway when I overclock it?" I guess I'm also disappointed this hybrid kit almost certainly won't include the nice EVGA fans that are on the hybrid version of the 1080 FTW edition due to the size difference in PCB.It isn't a huge deal, but the noise reduction would be nice. In my mind, even though not many units are sold for Titan cards, there are still a good number of people that want the best and Nvidia treats this card in a way that just doesn't make sense. There is a lot of potential to a custom PCB and cooler for a Titan XP. I really hope we get surprised by EVGA and Nvidia, but that seems extremely unlikely. It would just be very interesting to see the GP 102 pushed to its maximum potential. Sorry for the rant, but it really disappoints me to see how enthusiasts are treated by Nvidia.
stalinx20Wow, Q2 2017 ... Guess that gives me time to save up
_iMLG_Looking at Q2 2017 for 1080TI. Quite a ways out. I will be getting two Titan XPs. Just waiting for the hybrid kits now. Just disappointed by the approach Nvidia is taking currently. In an ideal scenario for enthusiasts who don't want a custom loop, we would get a custom PCB Titan XP with the EVGA FTW Hybrid style cooler. Unfortunately, that won't happen. One can dream though...
DRSEnabledJust bought a Titan XP to replace my 1070s sli. After reading this thread I have come to the conclusion that the card is noisy :)Can't believe the kit is not released yet?Any update evga?Foul language removed. Using asterisks to mask foul language is not allowed.

Alternative: watch and then buy the 1080 AIO Hybrid cooler and go for it.
CptSpigGot tired of waiting! Just ordered a EK-XLC Predator 360 (incl. QDC) and EK-FC Titan X Pascal - Acetal+Nickel pre-fill with backplate form EKWB.At the very least it will fit with no modifications and keep my Titan X Pascal cool.

My new Titan X single card blows the SLI setup away. I am averaging 40 to 50 FPS higher in all my games. Playing Battlefield 1 I am averaging 150 FPS that seems pretty good for 2560x1440. My new Titan's boost clock is 1860 with no overclock. when spending $1200.00 on a card I think $400.00 to cool my CPU and GPU is worth the Money.

I have been debating this for some time. It would look so good. My only concern is the greater chance of a leak and how warranties would play out in that situation. For me, $2400 worth of GPUs makes me really want some form of coverage in case there is a leak.
