PSU Cable Compatibility: SuperNOVA 550 G2 & SuperNOVA 750 GT

So I am FINALLY getting around to swapping my PSU.
I'm going from my old SuperNOVA 550w G2 to the SuperNOVA 750 GT.
My question is, could I just swap the PSU and plug in my old existing cables? I ask because it is an absolute chore in redoing everything due to how small the case is.
I tried checking the compatibility list but couldn't find a clear answer. Maybe because my 550 is so old? 220-G2-0550-Y1
Hoping the swap is something that is easy and 100% safe. Don't want to fry anything.

    Definitely should check with support, but looking at the cable sets that EVGA sells I would think not.  The sets listed for the G2 do not include the GT series as compatible so logically I would say they do not work, but double-check with support for sure.
