Yes. I know what causes it. Editing the voltage/frequency curve caused it to do that.

Could you please enlighten me what causes lower average clocks to score better than higher average clocks then? I genuinely would like to know, because I have no idea.

Using my Real Vince KingPin Vbios. Only core over clocking at the moment.
Do not mind that idle as that is because it was sitting there for a while.

Finally got the kingpin out of the box and set it up. I've had it since Friday but I've been reading forum posts and dreading getting similar results to my FTW3. It's always riding power limit even before overclocking even on XOC. First night on the FTW I got 14,567 and was sitting at number 8 on the leaderboard right behind Jayztwocents. I could never get past 14.3k after that. Maybe due to room temps or drivers, not sure. Anyways, I can't tell you how happy I am. It may not be the best but it's definitely an improvement.

So far I haven't touched the classified tool or the dip switches. This is just +150 on the core and +1300 on mem on ln2 bios with power and temp targets maxed. Going to call it a night and maybe try some more in the AM when it's nice and frosty in here!

I held a better average GPU clock then your 15238 score but ended up with a lower score.  I'm starting to think the NVidia card isn't getting along with my AMD 5900x.  I have an intel 8700k build I could put the Card in but that sounds like work.

I don't think it's your card. Your gpu frequency looks great. I think something else is holding you back. Have you tried single monitor? I was running in windowed at first so I could look at gpuz and only getting like 13.3k. I was freaking out. Went full screen and it was 14.9k. When I first got my ftw3 I got like 400 points just by closing precision. Not the same but there have been things I've been able to do to get huge gains.

edit: I saw in another thread that you're getting artifacting and stuff. Nevermind. That really sucks.

I'm just coming from the fact that the same setup was used for an FTW and the first KPE card I got and this one scored much lower. Fullscreen, same driver, same monitors, same "fresh" Windows install with the 5950x.

Yeah RMA is in for the artifacting and screen blanking. The rep was amazingly nice and walked me through some potential steps to try while waiting for the RMA to process. This is the support I remember from the 680 Classified days!

I just have really bad luck so far with these things apparently.

Glad others are getting 15k scores and stable/quiet cards though! Signs of hope!

You talkin about PX1? Yeah, I know that. I stick to afterburner most of the time.

Hi Sajin, how did you use Afterburner with Classified? Are you using the voltage curve in Afterburner or just the offset?

A few hundred above me, but also you have a 10900k. Looks like this makes an appreciable difference over a 9900k, but I'm not sure by how much.

Edit: I guess it actually doesn't make much difference.

No idea. Just seems like some cards are like that while others aren’t. I wish I had a card that did higher averages as those are the cards getting the higher scores.

I don't think it's the 10900K as much as it's a 5.4 ghz 10900K. From what I've been told is that there's very appreciable gains on Intel up to 5.3 ghz. After that there's diminishing returns. I'm going to bump my 9900k up to 5.2 tonight and see if how much better the score gets. I'm at 5.1 comfortably. 5.2 gets too hot for me to feel comfortable for 24/7 use.

How the heck did you get a 9900k to run 5.4

Mine runs 5.2 and I though that hit the silicon lottery. Cooled by EVGA CLC 280.

My 9900K is more than golden. It runs nicely at 5.4GHz on 1,35v, for 3D benchmarks needs 1,375v. I run it daily at 5.2

Wow, great results guys, keep them coming.

I'm not willing to put my AIO into a bucket, but I am going to open my window tonight and hang my PC out of it in 2C air lol.

That 9900k is a 1%'er for sure. I daily 5.1 at under 1.3v and I thought that was good. I had to add some ICCMAX in XTU to make it stable, the 193A was not enough.
Not to get off topic, but do you run LLC7 for that extreme 5.4 clock? Any other goodies you've found to make it stable? I also don't run a constant voltage for daily use, so it can clock down and stay cool and hopefully extend the life.
