I hope someone sell 780 Cooler and he is compatible with new cards.
First mistake design.
Second mistake designer is still alive.
Third mistake will be made if they decide to use this cooler except old good cooler same as on 980 reference or TITAN X.
Yes they should launch 1080/1080Ti in black color as TITAN X.
And new Pascal GP100 will be anyway redesigned because HBM.
For now reference 6970 was worse card, but this is even worse.
She is such design that fit will nothing... You simply can't build computer where this reference card will look nature.
Radeon PRO Duo is beauty for this... Miss Universe compare to picture above.

If NVIDIA start to calculate with price and CUDA Cores and later show some GP100 with 1200-1300$ price and AMD drop price of PRO Duo to 900-950$ I will not think to much what to do.
She is not so bad, except "sleeved tubes"... But this time they are hidden and example in my case not visible at all.
I would saw only Radeon sign and nice 8+8+8 pin with nice sleeve from my PSU.
This part of tubes I can't see from side panel frame...

I always have given AMD the credit that their cards' layouts (the looks rather) are always stunning.

Well, I wouldn't turn it down if I won it in a contest but we all know what the chances of that happening are, don't we?

Yeah, but that wasn't really a contest though. EKWB was announcing its new website and I made a humorous comment that got a chuckle out of EK-CEO and in return he gifted / sponsored me with my favorite EK Supremacy EVO copper block. This waterblock is working fine I might add and it shines like a beacon inside my case. I couldn't be happier with it.

P.S. Scarlet-Tech was here Sunday and saw it up close and in person and said OMG that is an awesome looking block.

NVIDIA Pascal Latest News and Update: New NVIDIA Pascal-Power GeForce Graphic Cards to Launch in mid-May Ahead of Computex 2016

excerpt:

Release of New NVIDIA Pascal GeForce Graphic Cards by mid-May

Usman Pirzada of WCCFTech.com has a latest report suggesting that NVIDIA's next generation GeForce graphic cards powered by Pascal will be released a few weeks prior to Computex, indicating the launch to happen in mid-May.
We have known for a long time that the flagship Pascal GPU would be revealed at the GTC event, but while NVIDIA revealed the chip itself, the GeForce launch did not happen. The reason for this appears to be a dedicated event just short of Computex 2016. NVIDIA has prepared three different SKUs to replace its current lineup of GeForce Graphic Cards.

that cooler is so... "angular" with all the angles and such. I'm sure manufacturers will offer different shroud/cooler options, unless that is denied by Nvidia for some reason.

Yeah, I was wanting to say that Nvidia could have picked a different rep to be their tour guide; surely (as I know I'm speaking for a lot of people on their behalf) I was not the only one who had a hard time understanding the guy. I lost track the amount of times he said "emulator"... we get it.

Than situation will same as 2012. People waited famous GK110, NVIDIA give them GTX680.
That mean I will upgrade card before New Year. Never mind, I will easier save money.
I'm not crazy to NVIDIA sell me GP104 for 700$ than AMD to crash them with 500$ card and than NVIDIA to launch 60% faster monster.
Special now when looks like AMD have advantage in DX12, we will need very powerful GeForce.

so AMD polaris 10 <=> 980ti - close to it and that is their top offering
polaris 11 is laptop
