No sound GTX1050ti SC Gaming

Okay so I'm pulling my hair out.

I get no sound through HDMI with my GTX 1050ti.

Only source of sound I have is a USB headset. When unplugged and switching audio devices to R240HY-4 (Nvidia High Def Audio) OR Realtek Digital Output I get nothing. I have uninstalled my nvidia driver, rebooted, reinstalled the newest driver and nothing. I also uninstalled both audio drivers in device manager and reinstalled them and to no avail have I gotten any sound. 

I recently reformatted my PC and this is the only thing I cant get working. 

Only cable coming from my 1050ti is an HDMI, no DVI or VGA. No sound cables coming from my MOBO, there never was and I had sound before. 

Sort of confused and exhausted at this. 

Any "Dude, come on have you tried..." things you can think of?

Driver Version 387.92 

Windows 10 Pro
Intel i5-7600K
16GB RAM
EVGA GTX 1050ti SC

    The Acer R240HY 23.8-Inch IPS has no built-in speakers so what device are you using to get sound from?

    That would definitely stop sound from working...

    Well, it doesn't have speakers but there is a headphone jack on the back next to the power input the OP could be using.

    How are your speakers connected to your PC ?
     
     
    Any recent update to your Win 10 ? 
     
    Clean install or update on top of previous OS?
