I heard about 1 in 100 but its more like you need to enter 100 to really stand a good shot. People will say odds are a lot worse but there's a few other factors at play in the shuffles that people don't realize such as how many products get dropped into them. Like, if 1 million people enter & they have 1000 items for sale its 1000 to 1 odds but if you enter 100 time you got a 1 in 10 shot overall

Don't give up, I have had a friend only enter a dozen or so times and get picked twice. My luck is terrible, but you can't win if you don't play.

As someone who plays MMORPGs, I don't have a good relationship with the RNG gods :)
I feel the shuffle concept is an interesting marketing concept.  On the surface, it appeals to customers by providing a system that attempts to reducing the efficiency of scalping and bots from automatically purchasing everything the moment it appears in stock.  Best buy has a different attempt at the same goal (staggered release... which like dislike even more).  To a degree, I believe it helps alleviate the timing advantage of bots... but does nothing to address the overall numerical advantage associated with spamming shuffle requests.
Ultimately, I consider it to be an inferior alternative to a verified customer queue based system.
While not perfect, EVGA has one of the better queue systems, as they implement a proof of work/state concept (at least with their elite status preference). 
Until accounts can be tied to identity verification... even if it was a loose identity connection such as a verifiable phone number or bank account... competition with scalpers/bots will always be difficult to combat.
 

Seen a article (can remember what site) but they stated the odds were one in a thousand but that was months ago. I was lucky and won a 3060ti or I would still be gaming on a 780ti. I had not purchased from newegg in about half a year.

I think newegg is trying to put their entire store on the shuffle today. Not sure what the hell they are doing but who wants to enter a drawing for a kettle? Just put the blasted thing on sale, instead of creating an event around your damn sale. I would just pay the extra ten dollars and buy it at a brick and mortar.

i signed up for yesterdays shuffle for a Samsung SSD then made a $700 purchase... got selected but didn't get it. now 1/2 on shuffles

Good luck to anyone who entered and still needs a card. I won once, then opened the email and saw it was a 6700XT bundle for $1100, then I cried myself to sleep at night that I somehow still lost despite winning.
 
That said, there seems to be significant evidence that the shuffle is heavily tilted towards people who have already spent significant money on Newegg, as our limited evidence suggests a very high win rate amongst those users (4, 5, 6+ wins) versus those who have spent little to no money on Newegg.

I've seen people on discord win, some even multiple times. But me I've tried every shuffle for the last 3 months, still nothing. I even used 2 diff accounts each shuffle.

I've bought a psu, and ram from them and still nothing on shuffle. I don't think buying from them makes a difference, I think it is random.

It's been my 3rd or 4th attempt so far. Unfortunately many of the shuffles these days are pairing a GPU with another peripheral which I don't need because I have all my parts except my GPU.

My bud really hasn't spent much but ordered a prebuilt with a 3060ti at the beginning of all this crap and won a shuffle 4 weeks ago for a 6700, asked me if I wanted him to get it for me... declined.
 
I've purchased probably about $10k in the past 20 years from them and that's nothing compared to some.
I won a shuffle two weeks ago for a 6700.... declined it. So i'm like 1 for 30/40.
