I haven't purchased anything from them for years because of the degradation of the company. It seems to have started when Hangzhou Liaison Interactive Information Technology Co. bought them and the new corporate ethos has taken over.

I think Newegg's shuffle practices are a bit scummy myself. The shuffle itself is just fine, I have no problem with it, but newegg are basically scalping with the combos and inflated prices. They aren't quite up to ebay scalper prices but they're clearly taking advantage of the shortages, especially in how they push their combos and tacking on (rough guess) $100 or more to every card they sell compared to Amazon.

Odds of any individual being picked have presumably gone down over time as more people learn about it and get on the notify list.

I did buy a monitor from them not too long ago so maybe my chance went up a percent or two.

I don't care for the new lottery system, back in NOV i was able to pick up a 3080 before they implemented the lottery system and it seems next to impossible

I have been buying parts from them for many years. Many thousands of dollars worth. I got picked for a 3090 FTW3 ultra on my 5th or 6th try. All the others were for 3070 ftw3 ultra cards that I didn’t get selected for. So there’s some data to ponder. In my mind, random is random, which means I have the same chances as everybody. Probability experts may not agree since I tried more than once. I don’t care though. I got my beast.

I've won twice in the shuffle, AMD 6900XT Nitro in January and a AMD 5800x 2 weeks later and been a dry spell since then.

I've been trying fairly consistently for the past two months, and I was lucky enough to win last Friday. Unfortunately had to get a 27" monitor with the combo deal, but i can live with a 3080 + monitor for $1600.
Of all the people saying they won, I wonder if they are signing up for all possible entries. Some of those combo deals are just garbage.

Does anyone know the odds of winning the Newegg shuffle? Has anybody here won it? I've been trying for a few weeks now and selecting all the nvidia combos to better my odds but still haven't won.
They claim it's completely random, however after reading several different posts on several different forums, etc, most of the "winners" of the Newegg Shuffle have either recently or previously purchased high-dollar items from Newegg and "coincidentally" just happened to be selected. Many of them have been selected multiple times per month and sometimes per week. That just doesn't seem statistically possible if it is supposedly "random".
I have entered into the Newegg Shuffle well over 70 times and have not gotten selected once.
Same Here, entered every day for about 2 month and nothing. I bought something with the email address, but not the account, when I bought, I did not register for account.

I think you would have better luck finding the end of a rainbow and just using the gold you find to buy a graphics card on eBay..

I didn't actually know that! I have friends in CA that I've been sending the shuffle to in order to get a card, I'd feel awful if one of them had won and not been able to checkout. Thank you for sharing that!

Much like the queues here, people joining or playing the NewEgg lottery today stand little chance of actually getting a card in the near future. You also don't have to worry about getting the doorstop that comes with the card. :-) I guess that with the NewEgg lottery, if you pick the most expensive options every day, you will likely win at least one of those over a short period of time. If you play the lottery from cheaper->expensive, like everyone else, probably not.

Yeah, the AMD cards in particular are jacked up to insane prices. The 30-series ones are around MSRP, just stuck with a combo item.

I'm pretty sure GN or another tech YouTuber did a video on sites that bundle stuff with graphics cards. It usually is junk inventory that they aren't able to sell so they force you to buy it in a bundle to clear off the shelves.

I think you can get higher odd if you bought lots of stuff from Newegg.
