And that is for the 3060... I can only begin to imagine how it will be for 3080ti...
... it was winter of 2025, COViD has wiped out all of humanity except for EVGA and Nvidia staff... came out that even then the companies still could not meet demand. EU que never moved. The End

Your best bet would be the new queue whenever that starts honestly. I've been looking at the forums/spreadsheets for EU in the last couple of months and it honestly looks doomed

Well, I haven't checked this in a long time now. I don't think my queues have moved even a second and all are marked as no shipments in the last 30 days. :( One day I'll get a 3080.

I read the Galax news about their limited cards being released but somehow looked past this story: https://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-partners-will-show-mining-limiter-on-new-ampere-cards That makes sense, avoid confusion (and possibly legal issues?) of having identical cards that don't perform the same. But that also means EVGA would have to figure out how to handle the queue situation for each of the SKUs. I really hope EVGA somehow move existing queues over.

Secondo me potrebbe essere una soluzione migliore inviare una mail di pre avviso che indica quando sarà disponibile il link di acquisto. Voi cosa ne pensate? O ritenete che sia una misura superflua?
In my opinion it might be a better solution to send a pre-notice email indicating when the purchase link will be available. What do you think about it? Or do you think it is an unnecessary measure?

Do not go off topic as to how the legal problems will be resolved.
A we have zero idea of what evga will do about the older queue . Ie a 3080 model 3885 pick on a list at

10G-P5-3885-KR LHR I would imagine Evga would tell you it is a substitute for 10G-P5-3885-KR if you take the substitute EVGA would be covered. (I think)
I would suffer losses on all my 3080's on wait as I was building rigs for miner/gamer and or gamer/miner buyers.
I would get a lower quality card. But if they are clear they are substituting the LHR model for the older skew I think they could be okay.

It might be due to the different chip ID. Theoretically there could be some niche software incompatibility, blah, blah, blah. When nVidia quietly changed GPU VRam gen without clear SKU identification they got roasted for it. The different SKU should also make it easier for non-miners to not get hosed on an overpriced GPU.

I have no interest in mining, and if I’m brutally honest I don’t care the least bit in what happens to miners, miners/gamers if/when these LHR cards become available.
However, I can’t help but wonder what kind of a gaming performance loss these changes will come with.

This is going to be a mess. AIBs will create some way to visually distinguish the two because plugging it up and running something like GPU-Z only works if you can plug it up before buying. That means whatever way they pick to visually distinguish them needs to be VERY distinct and not easily modified or else it opens the door for people changing the cosmetic appearance of a LHR card to look like a "super mining" card.

CheemonstonzoIt might be due to the different chip ID. They probably will. But in same time they will declare that new chips is " drop-in replacement" for old discontinued chips. In this case EVGA can update their BOMs without changing SKU. They may add " rev.1.1" and keep original SKU. In this case queue will not be affected.

Limiting hash rate also affects password cracking, F@Home, etc. it’s a terrible thing to do

I don't think there has been enough testing done to prove its doesn't effect any games. The purpose of the limiter is to prevent oversupply of secondhand gpu sales down the road. They could care less about getting gamers cards.
