It's been about a month since I signed up, still nothing. Did I do something wrong?

You didn't do anything wrong, we're just moving slowly. If you want to use such a generous term. lol We're currently still fulfilling 3080 queue spots from September of last year. The quickest moving 3080 is only on the fourth day past launch day.

So realistically do you even think EVGA will keep making these 3080s that have been on the list for so long and actually keep making them until say the shortage ends or do we think they will abandon the 3080 as soon as the new 3080 TIs release and then you will have to sign up for that one to be put into another que for something you have already been waiting for months already. They really need to work this out on how they will handle future products that are released and get to the people that have been patiently waiting in que. I know they are thinking this is a no win situation and they will piss off customers no matter what they do. I just want them to at least try to get a system in place where they transfer the que time they have already been waiting to a new card that comes available and give them the choice to buy it. That just doesn't seem right you have someone that has been on here for over 6 months then someone gets lucky gets a great que on new card and gets it within days of the launch and they have not been waiting on any other cards previously.

Again sign up aren’t a preorder and they have no obligations to fulfilled interest sign up list. Move on if your sku is considered dead and produces no margin for evga due to rising costs

If you don’t like how evga is doing it. Go buy from zotac asus msi giga or Newegg shuffle. Or dm bezos for a card

According to the spreadsheet there has been no movement since 4/20/2021 and that was 11/01/2020 sign up, i been looking every day for a week now, my eta of email was supposed to be today for 11/12/2021 sign up. I can see a couple days or a week with no movement but this is 20 days now. I can understand multiple skus but 20 days is still crazy...

I can confirm that the 3987 has not reached 11/08 yet.

You just dont understand just how many cards EVGA have sent to queue, do you?
Just because it moved only a day or a few hours or 4 days, doesn't mean its a scam, that just means THAT MANY people signed up in those times, in the range of tens of thousands.
I have seen dozens, if not hundreds of people, get cards here over the last few months(myself included for 3060 12gb), and for every card reported to this forum, there are an easy 50 to 100 more that don't, you should be able to do that math there :)

Honestly: no one know that. EVGA does not share this information. Best what we have is this: 24G-P5-3989-KR Queue tracking, but it valid only for one very expensive product. Hard to extrapolate to cheaper products.

There were over 400k new queue entries between feb 27 and mar 25. That is across all queues.

It looks like that is about average for non launch days.

EVGA has removed the queue number from the html, so we have no clue where it is now.

Is this queue based on the order we signed up for the notifications? or does it randomly select a batch of people who are signed up?
If we click the notify button again now to make sure we are signed up, will that change our place in the queue?

It's based on the exact minute you signed up for each card's notification.

Clicking "Notify" again will not change the timestamp for your original notification.

You can view your notifications on this page:
https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp
Keep an eye out most every day for a queue summary by user @enewt.
In that summary, he publishes the most recent notification for each card (that folks like us report after we get a "Yes")

You can go sign up in those other AIBs customer queues for their products....wait they don't have anything like this.  Demand in the queue is extremely high so if you are only getting into the queues now you are going to be waiting a long time.  Also as one of the top tier gpu AIBs, they have also not raised their prices like most of the other companies.  There have been price increases, but they are much less than other AIBs while still being one of the best you can opt for.  Are they perfect, no, but who is.

you can sell it in the for sale section here.

or list it on ebay. I did a 10 day auction on one of my rx480 4gb cards and started it at a reasonable price.

You should look at the step up.  Depending on your funding, the 3090 FTW3 ultra step up is moving the fastest.  It does cost the most, but if you are able to do it you could get your step up notification and gpu really quick.  I did mines recently recently in April, and I got it later that month.  If you are looking for a 3080, good luck all the list and step ups are way behind still trying to catch up from last year.  Enjoy your new card.

There were over 400k new queue entries between feb 27 and mar 25. That is across all queues.

It looks like that is about average for non launch days.

EVGA has removed the queue number from the html, so we have no clue where it is now.

Just to clarify, the queue is more than gpus.  It's everything.  PSUs, blocks, gpus, mobos, whatever that they didn't have in stock.  They shut down knowing that, but here is November something til early March.  The 25 March is later than I can find in my text files, so extrapolate to that if you like.

removeNotify('1744909','10G-P5-3897-KR','11/15/2020 1:38:48 PM')

'2763272','12G-P5-3657-KR','3/02/2021 7:12:01 AM'

Over a million or so in that time.

If I recall correctly the 3060s launched during that time period, so the million + number doesn't surprise me much.  I do think that this point it's rather ridiculous to even let people queue for cards they're literally never going to get.
I.E. someone queuing for a 3080 FTW3 Ultra now is never going to get a chance to purchase, it'll be discontinued by then cuz there's probably literally tens of thousands of people in front of them and eVGA probably won't put out that many more 3080 FTW3 Ultras before they reach end of life in terms of production.

Here's hopin' ya'll get a juicy drop cuz it's Taco Tuesday.

Or dm bezos for a card

what is the point of the sign-up, can anyone explain? yes, evga, or any other company for that matter can sell at whatever price to whomever they want. law of supply and demand and all that. there aren't enough products for everyone at 'msrp'. just don't pretend to create a system giving the illusion of 'customer friendliness'. how is evga different from, zotac asus msi giga or newegg or bezos?

Sorry to break this to you. If 1 million lined up for covid shot. And you at the back of the line. Still think covid shot supply don’t exist? U signed up last in line n expect an invite before everyone else. I also bet you signed up for one of the card that evga makes no margin off of despite tariff and resources and shipping increases. You know what. Just go buy from amd or zotac or asus or Newegg. We get it. Evga is a scam. So why are you here?

Easy to block out the 3060s

'2536213','08G-P5-3667-KR','2/15/2021 7:50:00 PM'
'2621460','08G-P5-3751-KR','2/24/2021 8:49:08 AM'

Take your pick.  I think the 3060s launched on the 25th.

* Obviously excluding the TIs

I love how quickly this thread escalated, from someone asking a question to people calling others a "Karen", lol

To dip into titanic land, because I hope it is a great day for everyone given the lack of any drops recently.. let's talk Kate Winslet.  She was good in Titanic, but her best movie off the top of my head is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.  I've been waiting 20ish years for someone to create the brain damage device.  Maybe Jim Carey's best as well.  Plus a young Ruffalo and a lovely Kirsten Dunst.

Here's hoping we all forget this dumpster fire of waiting for cards, and get on to doing what we love with them sooner rather than later.

Replaying Metro 2033 for the first time in ages has been a trip so far...

I have it on good authority that there is a good chance we may, possible, get a drop today... see what I did there? Very corporate. lol

Still waiting patiently here. Could've had a card earlier but I refuse to pay scalper prices off the likes of eBay so it looks like my trusted EVGA GTX 1080 ti will be keeping me company a while longer. My earliest notify goes back to early February this year so I'm under no illusion that my wait will be some time away.

True words... and thanks for the movie commentary ;) Perhaps EVGA should have a rotten tomatoes section ;)

please EVGA don't forget that you have an EU queue too, we are still UNDER THE FIRST MINUTE for 3060 and months are passed. We are still here waiting 2-3 seconds drop every month or so...

And that is for the 3060... I can only begin to imagine how it will be for 3080ti...
... it was winter of 2025, COViD has wiped out all of humanity except for EVGA and Nvidia staff... came out that even then the companies still could not meet demand. EU que never moved. The End
