Oh the folding counter hasn't showed up yet, perhaps it needs some time? edit your EVGA profile on EVGA website at the bottom of your personal infor with your name and address is a field called "FOLDING NAME" please make sure your folding name matches your user name make sure you are using team 111065 make sure you have a passkey and add it to the configuration in the FAH software passkey http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/getpasskey.py

Wow, that was a nice page, but yes, kinda low results. Thanks for the head's up This can be explained this way. And since many of you are hardware buff's, u'll get the story^^ The 690 is my home computer, not yet sat up to fold. What is set up to fold is my two office computers. My home computer has got a new mobo and cpu. I took the step from a X58/1366/I7 990X combo to Z79/2011/i7 3970X. My cooler, Antec H20 920 don't fit, so I had to get my hands on a bracket/ adapter. This bracket is now in house, and will be mounted later this day. I also have a suspected faulty memory module that I need to get sorted out, before I can run it in 1866MHz. I get some minor annoying bsod's when runnin' at some paste^^ I hope I can show off some cool results asap^^

Heh, Thx man^^ Yeah, they're nice. You know, the nicest vid card I've owned was a 580. No issues, great performance, and all day carefree gaming. Then the upgrade bug struck..... What the 690's are able to produce is yet to see....

Guess I'll have to change my name once I'm done with the project I started, I did get the passkey, but guessing it will be different after I change my name to my user name. Oh Ok I just change it under configure, but my project will stay under current name.

1, Username = folding name - not necessarily all you have to do is contact rob or shane at EVGA if your folding name is different than your username they will then work with you to either change your user name or allow your folding name to be different than your EVGA name if it's early and you practically have no points under your folding name yet - you can also move to make it reasonably close to or the same as your username losing a few thousand points won't make much of a difference once you folded awhile - it be a drop in the bucket the only reason they want it the same is for verification purposes - for EVGA bucks... same name is easy for them otherwise they have to check each profile to make certain and it also protect people from using folding points from other members like -> johnz using mgoring's folding name and use his folding points to earn EVGA buck they want to know it's you and not some other person folding for EVGA nowadays - auto verification - you don't need them to match - just need them to say ok we know it's you,,,will check to see it's not some other person that's been here awhile - and then they may Okay it just look at how many people that could fold under .... Bill,Johnson variations Bjohnson,Billjohnson,bJohnson1,bill_johnson,etc (possible 100's) so they would have to allow some difference in usernames to folding names any phonebook you could have 100's with the same name - so they would allow different names to differentiate 2, passkey - goes by EMail address never changes unless you get a different email account you can use your passkey with different folding names or teams... the only issue that in each case - you will need to prime it for each name or team you switch too further you can change you config at any time with the key -best to input it as soon as you can so you get it primed sooner - no sense letting SMP WU's go by and not have them prime the key and wait longer to earn bonus points

Xavier Zepherious you can use your passkey with different folding names or teams... the only issue that in each case - you will need to prime it for each name or team you switch too You don't need to re-qualify if you change teams, only if you change usernames.

Oh guy's..... I'm afraid I've done something very wrong... Only been folding less than a week, I entered this page: Welcome to your personal Folding@EVGA web page. http://www.evga.com/folding/MyFolding.asp Here I saw the request for 250K points button. I don't know why, but I pushed this button (kinda what I'm like) THEN I read the text. I might be a bit quick pushing buttons, but I'm not dishonest, and I absolutely don't want to claim more than I have earned. Now I may have claimed for points I haven't earned. Anything I can do about this? EDIT: I found some posts about this, now I got it ha ha. Well, I had surpassed the 250K requirement by far. Wow I'm jumpy lol
