Sajin Hmm. $2500 for limited fp64.
You knew there was gonna be a trade off somewhere :-) Without ECC, the lack of fp64 is sort of a non-issue. The quadro is still the card to get for high end computational work. Deep learning is an entirely different beast. Every single number is a gradient off of a normal distribution to begin with. Any precision beyond fp32 really means nothing in the matrix :-)
I used to mine. Now I compute.

I'm considering it if they perform a lot better than my V. By stats alone it seems it will not.

Huh? The 2080 ti performs better than the titan v in games & benchmarks.

Not sure about clock for clock, but the titan v doesn't support sli either while the 2080 ti and rtx titan do.

Yes, I plan to get one or two. I will be using them for architecture/interior design work, not gaming.

LOL.. Talk about massive overkill. You could simulate nuclear blasts with these things. Design and model every load condition on the world’s largest offshore oil platform.. (although you’d probably want a quadro to check the calcs... but you get my drift) Interior design? 4 real?

Yeah it appears you are correct, especially in battlefield. Interesting. By specs alone this shouldn't be the case. Obviously there are other optimizations going on as well. Makes the RTX Titan more appealing for sure then, cause if the 2080 Ti is around 25 % faster than a V, and the RTX titan is 25 % faster than that, that becomes a more interesting upgrade to me.

The rtx titan won't be 25% faster than the 2080 ti. It will be like 5% faster than the 2080 ti in games/benchmarks.

Brad_Hawthorne Those that called BS on the speculation that 2080ti WAS Titan this is a reality check. Get ready for a $2k+ RTX Titan. I knew it was gonna happen. Nvidia really did screw with the price point.
I just hope it's 7nm with a goodly increase in rtx and cuda core count while matching 2080ti power. Just being a full Turing chip would be a letdown.
Yes I agree Brad but I think you got it wrong. People saying 2080ti was new Titan will get a reality check. Those of us that called BS knew full well this was coming and Nvidia was bending everyone over the table as per usual.
Specs on Nvidia's site say it's 12nm process. https://www.nvidia.com/en...id=nv-int-ndtnrx-66563

If they aren’t running the extreme/unltra presets, I don’t frankly care because these cards mean nothing at 1080p resolution.

I ended up just picking up 2 2080 tis and will sell my V. The one bad thing i noticed about my single 2080 ti ( have not hooked up nvlink yet ) is how much slower it is in DooM using vulcan. The V crushed it by over 40 fps in that title. So its kind of odd that the 2080 beats the V handedly in BF5, but gets destroyed by the V in DooM. In other news, i dont think i will be able to nvlink anytime soon, cause my cards are 3 slotters, and on my current motherboard, i would have to jam them together to get them installed. So now i have to buy a whole new board with different slot spacing... ugh.

A bunch of images you cannot click on to read or cannot click on to zoom in to read. Nothing to compare to the charts in the Video. Maybe take the scores from the Video and add them to a chart with your added scores and post your chart finding. Corrected Missing Text.
