It appears that NVIDIA will release a new Titan card based on the Turing architecture, called NVIDIA GeForce Titan RTX. Although we don’t know much, we expect this GPU to be more powerful than the RTX2080Ti, and it will be even more expensive. This new GPU was teased/leaked by Linus on his latest livestream. Below you can find an image from that livestream in which we can see Linux holding the package. So will this new card be announced next week?

So the earlier talk that the 2080Ti was in effect the new titan might not have been accurate.  It just shares the price tag. Interesting.

    Shares the *old* price tag.

I am betting this is a $1500-1800 card, because nvidia can.

2000 dollars + is what I think NVIDIA will charge.

Still, it will be very interesting to see how it does in RT.  I certainly won't buy one, but I want to see the charts.

    $1,800...

This will be the card I’ll get next year. I’m guessing (hoping) for 16 gb dggr6.

Any more $$$ than that and I’ll pass. Stick with 2080Ti

I used to mine. Now I compute.

if it was just the livestream I would think it was a major screw up, but the jay video was edited, so its looks to be intentional to drive buzz and speculation.

It will be 2000+ for sure... I knew they were waiting to launch this. And sadly, i'm sure it will be just as underwhelming as the rest of them.

Even more sad is the fact that people will flock to it and buy it.

    That's great card.
It's not overclockers enthusiasts models but it's only premium GPU Series.

    TITAN
    TITAN Black
    TITAN X
    TITAN Z
    TITAN X Maxwell
    TITAN X Pascal
    TITAN XP Pascal
    TITAN V
    TITAN RTX

I'm very angry on NVIDIA because pushed me from list of guys who can afford damn single 250W GPU and I need to buy used old series like some amateur but even than I rather stay on GeForce. And I'm not sad to much, I try to enjoy in what I have.
Now time is for finishing loop, than M.2 for New Year, than Monitor on summer than upgrade platform DDR5 when arrive.
I will save around 18 months for 100-150 euro monthly for next platform. But max 10C/20T and 400$ worth motherboard, 32GB DDR5 4000 when show up.

I just hope it's 7nm with a goodly increase in rtx and cuda core count while matching 2080ti power. Just being a full Turing chip would be a letdown.

Yes I agree Brad but I think you got it wrong. People saying 2080ti was new Titan will get a reality check. Those of us that called BS knew full well this was coming and Nvidia was bending everyone over the table as per usual.

But...but they claim Navi will compete with Nvidia top end cards. /Sarcasm. I'll believe it when I see it.

Then again they proved me wrong with zen. Let's hope AMD can give Nvidia a reality check.

Nvidia is sticking it to consumers with the 20 series.

I still believe this is what the RTX models should of been:
RTX 2070 should of been RTX 2060
RTX 2080 should of been RTX 2070
RTX 2080Ti should of been RTX 2080
RTX Titan should of been RTX 2080Ti

Instead Nvidia did the old switch-a-roo to get consumers to cover all money it's spending to have game developers add it's version of ray tracing technology.

Next year will probably see RTX 2080Ti+ and probably RTX Titan Black.

No real competition from AMD is allowing Nvidia to get away with all this price gouging.

What are you smoking? I was the first one in the forums to call them on that nonsense when 2080ti information leaked and got tons of crap for it. The people emotionally invested into the 2080ti because they thought it was the top of the line -- the butt hurt will be real. My crystal ball saw that nonsense months ago.

    Get ready to pay 2000+.

No one will and the very few.  The KP of GPU buyers will.

This will only hurt them in the long run if competition shows up and everyone gets sick and tired of Nvidia's antics.  AMD and Intel me thinks will finally show up to the plate in 2020+ but they might not be the top end type that we'd need.  We shall see but the higher the price on these GPUs, the less they will sell.  Think of it this way.  Those that spent a boat load for these RTX GPUs will sit back possibly even more generations down the road to upgrade than before.  They are eating up funds from most gamers that would upgrade every 1-2 gens and only prolong it, reducing their sales.

24 Gb of ddr6 makes this a serious device at the $2500 price point.

Double the memory of a Titan V. I’d hardly call it a steal, but the specs justify the price.

The question is: do you really *need* a device like this? Are you truly going to use it’s awesome power in a worthwhile way?

    That’s a tough one...

Nvidia just made the Quadro cards obsolete for deep learning. (But not HPC)

I'm scratching my head seeing a $500 price reduction from its predecessor (TITAN V) while other RTX products saw a complete jump.  I hope for similar price reductions on the next gens across the board.

Titan V has the Volta architecture with HBM2 integrated, although NVidia throttled it in compute mode and disabled the NVLink and dialed it down to 12gb instead of 16gb or 32 gb as is present on the Quadro and Tesla Volta cards.

The Titan V would be a better deal if they NVLink were active and the clocks not throttled. But I think they feared losing sales in the more lucrative Quadro and Tesla V markets.
