You might want to email nateman_doo. I ordered a waterblock the other day but he needs another taker to start a batch.

hey there. i recently received an sr2 board with your waterblocks on them. i took them off to clean them up inside. but i had a few questions about installing them back. What size thermal pads do you recommend. and plus on the nb/sb block is it best to use 2 washers as stand offs? I cant pm atm as this is my first time posting on the forums. but any tips with installing these back the optimal way would be great

I didn't use any standoffs for installations.  I don't know what size washers the previous owner used.  The washers were to insulate the screw from the back of the board.  You can e-mail me since you can't PM.  bottom of sig.

One step closer...

Version 2.0

Whats new you ask?  Just some cosmetic changes, less right angles, smother flow in some spots, and thinned out the fins a bit.

Some closer up pictures.  Fresh off the machine:

The edges are finished, but the interior still needs to be cleaned up.  Lots of burrs due to coppers gummy nature.

Opened the fins a little bit:

The only real "oopsie" was the drill mill putting the chamfer on the underside, decided to take on the steel screw.  Carbide bit won:

Carbide rocks.

Still unfinished:

See how the gummy nature of copper pushes the last bit out when the hole is made?

To be continued...

Does this not blow your mind?

A forum member sat there and polished the block to a mirror shine.  AND.... AND... he is pre-approved with no annual fee to mastercard!  ;)

Lol i just realized the preapproval from capitalone sitting there  LMAO. Bought 2 780 hydro coppers with it too. The blocks have imperfections and gouges from the previous owner but they cleaned up good. Gonna spray with clear tomorrow and then get the back side good and clean and mount these suckers. Anyone knows what temps to look for?

Nate, I've just spent the past hour or so reading through the thread and was hoping if you could give a little summary of the different versions you offer. Are you also able to offer a package that contains 2 CPU blocks along with a full coverage block?

cheers and awesome work

Glad you like!
Sadly, I don't offer the CPU block anymore, because Danger Den went out of business. I just produced a replacement top of the CPU blocks.  Its called the Danger Den MC-TDX.  I can't find them online much anymore.  I did find one on ebay, but they were charging more then twice when the company charged for full retail.

Just e-mail me your address.  my address is in my sig below.
I cannot make the CPU blocks without finding two Danger Den MC-TDX waterblocks.  If you want to look for them while I am making your chipset block then that can be done, but I would suggest looking at commercially available CPU blocks.
