nateman_doo Every single part I make has some through holes to bolt to a fixture plate. The top plastic parts use the bolt holes as the through holes. It would take a while to indicate a bunch of parts.
The parts get located with dowel pins you only need 1 hole to locate first part. Have you ever used adjustable dowel pins ? adjusted with allen wrench. Been along time makin me use the gray matter. We alway bored a hole in main fixture to get x&y cordinates then (zero )always came from that location. Indicate the hole and done. Set X&Y to zero your ready to mill. All dimensions come from that point.

I have never even heard of adjustable dowel pins. I do use dowel pins to change fixture plates. i drop the plate in with the pins in, and just indicate the X & Y, and then use a height gauge when the bits are installed. I don't use preset tool heights. Trust me when I say I have a VERY rudimentary operation going on in my basement.

I love the clamp straps! MSC direct? I am more of a McMaster kind of guy, but I have bought things with rare occasion from MSC. McMaster is here in Jersey, so as long as I place the order before 3pm, I get it the very next day.

I make them to order. I avoid plexi tops as often as I can. Delrin is a far superior material for waterblocks.

I know this is old, but can I still get one? The fan on my SR-2 is showing signs of bearing failure (horrible noise) and I plan to water cool my X5690s anyway. I'd like a block for the board but nobody seems to be selling them anymore.

Im sorry, I thought I replied to this. Were you referring to the Danger Den CPU blocks I made? DD went out of business, so I can't get the CPU bottoms anymore. All I did was make replacement tops for them.
