That is quite an impressive and massive collection! Especially the computer hardware, I had to do some research on some of the older ones. Too bad you don't have those old 3dfx cards anymore.

Those swords are pretty neat too.

Re: Meet my VGA Table, a way of keeping loved hardware that is worth collecting xD 2016/12/30 01:50:02 (permalink)
Hey all

Well, I decided to collect more than just Tu-144's, Concorde's also gotten my interest as have never produced SSTs like the B2707, L-2000 or the MD AST, anyways, for now I have 6 Tu-144's and 1 Concorde, it's a good start and I hope to get more as I go along.

As Scale goes 1:200 is my faved scale with 1:400 as great alternative if 1:200 doesn't have what I am seeking , so these two scales will be used for this collection
Sorry for making a new thread again, it's that the non Tu-144 based planes will be offtopic for all the other threads I made thus this new thread was of need to fulfill this concept.

------------------------------------------------------
Here my Aérospatiale/BAC Concordes:
------------------------------------------------------
Hogan Wings
Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde
British Airways "Landor Livery" Reg Number: G-BOAE "Alpha Echo"
Scale 1:200
------------------------------------------------------

So here come the photo's then

Here the DHL Shipping tracker:

You can see where my package came from and where and when it exactly got delivered; many thanks to Dai Kong for the great packing and DHL for their ultra fast service and carefully delivering my package

And here the package + Custom Taxes receipt:

So here the Alpha Echo's packaging + two bags from Dai Kong's Hobby shop, to give his shop some credit too

Rear view of the box:

And here the top flap opened revealing the Concorde:

Here the inner packing; as you see it's very well packed and carefully protected:

Box contents:

Here the Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde British Airways Landor Livery G-BOAE - Alpha Echo it's self:

Thanks man

Yeah I love the BA Landor Connie, seen one back in 1989 which was the Alpha Foxtrot, here a photo of that exact plane i saw on April 12, 1989 at Perth International Airport:

Photo made by David Eyre.

It was mainly because of that day to maintain that cool memory it gave a mini airshow as well, the sound was so brutal man Acceleration was pretty decent too.
Even that my model is the Alpha Echo, that don't matter it's the BA Landor Livery that counts most, this is how Concorde was during it's best years, even that the Negus years weren't bad either, still need to get me a good Negus Livery too.

Hey all :-)

Here something else than just MiG-29's or SST's, but the good ole Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet series, always loved these flown three variants as well, not the best of liveries but they gave me great memories, mainly how stable they are no matter the weather situation and to collect them well to me they are the most elegant looking widebodies ever made, my favorites are the Boeing 747SP-44 from South African Airways a,d the Boeing 747-400 from Qantas for the 2016 Australian Olympic Team.

So here we go then shall we:

Boeing 747-400-F
TNT "Global Express Logistics & Mail"
Skymarks Models
Scale 1:200

Boeing 747-400
China Airlines "50th Anniversary"
Herpa Wings
Scale 1:200

Boeing 747-300
Qantas "Nalanji Dreaming"
Skymarks Models
Scale 1:200

Boeing 747-400
Qantas "Wunala Dreaming"
Herpa Wings
Scale 1:200

"Nalanji Dreaming" & "Wunala Dreaming":

Boeing 747SP-44
South African Airlines "Hantam"
Inflight 200
Scale 1:200

Upcoming:

Boeing 747-400
Qantas "Spirit of the Australian Team"
Inflight 200
Scale 1:200

Here a video of that exact plane taking off from brisbane International Airport, Queensland, Australia made by Dat Plane Guy:

All  my B747's are 1:200, 1 is diecast the other 4 are plastic, but the 6th  one which I will buy next week is also diecast metal, Inflight 200 is  the brand of choice, mainly the amount of details they put in their  models and the accuracy, that too plays a large role, no sense making a  model that has many inaccuracies right ;)

Finally the day has come!

Here two two new Queens that arrived from Arcunia, The Netherlands:

The boxes of my two new Queens from the top view with a cool greetings post card from Arcunia Models Store and a business card from them as well, Kudos to Arcunia for packing them in very carefully, good job guys

top of the two boxes:

Rear view with some information of Inflight 200 & JC Wings

top side info

rear side info

Inner boxes have good quality soft foam

Both queens are neatly packed with upper thin plastic protection, the Wing probes of the B747-206B also had plastic protection covers, all very carefully and well packed a very important thing imo :-) Great Job Inflight 200 & JC Wings

A Gathering of Queens & a Ticket..

Info about the ticket

The KLM Ticket was from a trip I had on a KLM B747-306 PH-BUW on Dec 22 1985 & Jan 24 1986was for my 4 week Vacation from to The Netherlands ,was at the time I lived in Australia:

This Star Alliance of Queens; I got the idea from the Star Allaince Logo btw, I saw it on the Thai B744 ...
So I was like time to do something with that and my Queens  Worked like Magic

As you stare in to the center The Gathering of Queens made the ticket vanish!

There is a slight change..

The Gathering of Queens pulls you towards the center:

The Queens want to take you on a trip:

A trip beyond worlds!

 Boeing 747-200
 KLM "1971 KLM Retro Livery"
"The Mississippi" PH-BUA "Bravo Uniform Alpha"
 Scale 1:200
 Inflight 200

Here a lovely top angled shot of this old relic:

The SATCOM is surely there though:

Here a rear angled view of this KLM B747-206B.
The SATCOM can also clearly be seen as that is the Jumbo's secondary Hump:

Closeup of the rear cargo doors:

The cool facial shot of this golden oldie from 1971:

closeup of the front cargo door Also revealing her name The Mississippi in blue and Boeing 747 in Gold.
The Cheatlines are greatly missed these days, also something I must truly admit:

On  this model the strobe light can also clearly be seen on the top of her  upper deck. all the other applied details make it look complete:

KLM does Bellies up,  Great details there as well and the Inflight 2000 logo; the hole is for the stand btw:

Another  top angled view of this majestic oldie it gives me magical memories as I  flew on this very aircraft on Jan 27/28 1980 from Amsterdam to Dubai to  Singapore to Melbourne to Sydney to move from The Netherlands to  Australia
That aircraft was also the PH-BUA which is exactly the same as this model which also had this 1971 KLM Retro livery!
So life could not get any better after finding and buying this fantastic model

The  top view of the KLM B747-206B, gives a good example of how large this  thing is.
The SATCOM can also clearly be seen just behind the upper deck,  I love such details, gives the model a more completed and accurate  look.

The KLM Logo on the vertical stabilizerm simplly the best livery for KLM ever

KLM  B747-206B on her stand with the Limited Edition 240 Pcs Card.
Also a post  card from 1986 my grandmother sent me when I lived in Australia back in 1986.
Top  left of that postcard I found something really cool... something I never  knew til today..21 years later rofl!

Here a closeup of the postcard, Wardair Canada B747-100 a Philippines Airlines DC10 and 5 KLM B747-206B's, the Queen top left is interesting...

It's  the PH-BUA! same aircraft I flew on on Jan 27/28 1980!!
It's the same exact aircraft as m  the Model I have, just in the successor Livery from the mid 1980's this  was a very cool find!

The Trip continues onwards.

Things are about to become Magical and Majestic :'D

Here a lovely top angled shot I took of this Purple Dream

The purple paint seems the be metallic as well.
This is to me the best new gen livery out there.
Thai did a fantastic job on this one!

Closeup of the rear cargo doors:

Pathoomawadi's face:

As you see Thai Airways International is also part of Star Alliance just like KLM is, also showing the front cargo door:

Also note the strobe light on her hump:

Bellies up! Nice detailed view here as well:

Pathoomawadi the Thai B747-4D7 from this angle <3
Also note that JC Wings made the wings part of the main fuselage mold:

The majestic purple, white gold magenta & purple patterns meet almost halfway up her back:

The Lovely Thai Logo & Flag of Thailand on the vertical stabilizer:

Re: Meet my VGA Table, a way of keeping loved hardware that is worth collecting xD 2017/06/09 01:09:48 (permalink)
This is a repost, just doing this so they are easier to link to, and still my best collection, to me this post is worth it :)

So here is my Dino-riders Collection, that I Collected from March 22, 1987 to November 22, 2013, that are 26 years and 8 months of pure dedication
Top Rows:

Middle Rows:

Bottom Rows:

Here some of the Boxes I kept

Rear box paints of the two big boxes; these paints were done by Ezra Tucker:

The small box has the same art as the top one

Here the entire display

This is to my my most precious collection I ever took part of, most of these go for around 2500 Euro new in box each, so kind of irreplaceable...
Here an example of the Dino-Riders Rulon Tyrannosaurus Rex:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Dino-Riders-Tyrannosaurus-Rex-mit-Krulos-Cobrus-Bitor-Tyco-1987-MISB-/263008534194?hash=item3d3c87beb2:g:ZIYAAOSww5hZKylf

She ever been out of that box for 30 years!
This is to give you an example of their value, the -Rex is not even the rarest one, the Rarest ones are from Series 3L
Valorians:
Chasmosaurus with Llava
Pachyrhinosaurus with Atlas

Rulons:
Quetzalcoatlus with Algar

These if found new in box can easily go well over 3000 a 4000 USD, I got extremely lucky that I got my Pacyrhinosaurus with Algar new in box from a guy in Paris for 350 Euro and on November 22 2013 the Quetzalcoatlus with Algar for 529 Euro from a DR Collector friend from Madrid for a special offer, even they both were from ebay, in 2014 that same item was sold for 4200 USD.

Collecting items from the 1980's isn't a cheap hobby rofl
