Where is everyone ordering PTM7950 from?
Seems to be some quality issues or knockoff/counterfeit product out there, that some people have reported on other forum's posts
The results look very good for the PTM7950, I just want to get it from a reliable vendor
MODDIY if you want an authentic one that performs better than some of the pre packaged knockoffs of Amazon. There are legit ones on Amazon but I wanted to ensure I got the real thing.
Maybe, if 4 other people wanted to join me & buy some in bulk as a group, say everyone buys 10 --> there seems to be a big discount @ Qt of 50. I do not "need" (10) 80mm X 80mm pads - but @ that price, why not  I would have to call PPCs & find out what is possible, as online inventory is not showing that many available to order currently. To try and save you a bit of sanity @Cool GTX, I am running both of these in my 13900K (PCM-1) and 14900KS (PTM7950) builds, and they seem to function exactly the same as any type of "authentic" PTM 7950. In fact, achieving much higher OC stability than previously, better temps by about ~5C across the board under load and similar voltage settings as my previous settings with PK-3, which was crashing quite constantly under load with OC clocks. Sadly the card needs more power to maintain it and oc the crap out of my vram lol no artifacts, it finished but yeah it needs to be volt modded.

I also tried PTM7950 on my TUF 4090.
After one week, I would say the core temperature didn't drop compared to high quality pastes, but the hotspot did. And it seems to only get better over time rather than get worse which it did with 3 high quality pastes that I tried.
Highly recommended.

Highly recommended.
It will take some time to see the full results, I went from 28-32c idle to 72c at full load with cyberpunk fully maxed out with the hot spot hitting 82c and that was with an aggressive fan curve. This is after a year of ownership as things slowly heated up. With the pad installed and cured. Went down to 25c idle, a max temp of 57c and the hot spot not exceeding 67.1c. Once I yeeted my overclocks as you see above the Honeywell PTM7950 pad cured rather quickly and temps got better all around.

New month. So here is the update on my temps...
Temps are still doing great.
Good to hear. I'm hoping to repaste my year old EKWB install in the next couple weeks. I just got back from a long vacation and didn't get to it yet. I was going to try KPX on it, had already bought before you guys were talking about the other one. Will be interesting to see how it compares to the Kryonaut I put on there the first time. Probably going to do my CPU with it while I'm in there as well (2+ year old Kryonaut on that as well).

If you opened your RTX 4090 to re-paste it you might have voided the warranty.

I used an x-acto knife, I used painters tape on the gpu die itself because you cannot take proper measurements at least on mine due to the caps in the way without a caliper. Large piece of blue painters tape X-acto knife to cut around the die gently, peel off place on Honeywell ptm7950 pad as a cutting template stencil, use x-acto Knife with a ruler to help keep a straight line, apply it to the gpu die, toss my air cooler back on and done.

I got it setup in one of my computer with my eVga 3090Ti and i9-14900KF with these pads on both cpu and gpu. I have both my cpu and gpu with waterblocks installed on them. Temps are almost the same as before but don't rise in temps as quickly with regular paste on them before. Is there a cure time for these pads in which temps start to go lower? It took me a total 6 hours from start to finish to it up and running. I will be doing my 2nd computer this weekend with MSI 4090 and i9-14900KS. I had to stick the pads in my refrigerator for about a hour before applying them to the cpu and gpu.

Mine seemed to be good to go after the first 15 minute burn in at 576w.

You may need to lower your fans and pump speeds to really get it to bake properly at an accelerated rate. Hardware needs to exceed 45c and stay well above 45c to bake & cure properly, the more heat the better. It's what it was designed for and around after all. Like on my AIO cooled cpu and vapor chambered gpu it has been amazing.

Those wondering and wanting to see how good Honeywell PTM7950 pads are if you do not believe those of us who are using it, maybe you will believe Igor.

nice find, great details (excerpt) "Where I see problems are with water coolers and water blocks, where there might not be a complete phase change, at least on the cooler side. But you need at least 55 to 60 degrees throughout the pad for a complete change of state. “Half-defrosted” pads are counterproductive and are even more prone to cracking. At least that’s what one of the OEMs has now confirmed to me. Everyone has to work out for themselves how to solve this properly. I wouldn’t use a pad on a water block, at least not a PCM,"
