Cool.
Just so you know.... I am doing this stuff side by side with you using my card, but am on the 480W bios at the moment.
You can also use PR, just run it in loop/window mode. Once it's up and going put the tools on top and watch and make changes as well.




It seems like it may have changed behavior after a reboot before I did some more testing. Not getting the same power limiting as before, here's a shot of the GPU-Z render test. I ran PR as well and it was even cleaner than that, forgot to screenshot it. Will run another once GPU cools a bit. Also I'm on the non-WHQL hotfix drivers, not sure that should matter though. *Edit - Nevermind something still not right.
 
*Edit - Added PR run, this one was hitting Vrel/Vop and then Thrm/Pwr spike right at the end.. my last one was cleaner with just 2 tiny spikes at very start and very end. *Edit - Added another PR run with OC. *Edit - Added another PR run, this one to me clearly not right. Okay, that makes sense.
Open an elevated command prompt window and type this: 
nvidia-smi -q -d power
And tell me what you see.
Now this one doesn't have power as the issue, but does have the others, but still higher than your score because I used higher clocks on stock voltage.

I had core at 125 and anytime I pushed memory past 250 PR would crash instantly. I'll try 0 on the core with bigger memory offset... getting tired now


I can't run that exe it just instantly closes, tried creating shortcut and adding interval to target still no dice. Also you won't find argument with me regarding the weak 4930k for scores but I don't see why that would affect the power limits in this way...?
 
*Edit - Ok I managed to get 125/1200 here's the screencap, looks like I hit power limiting at 469W early and then Pwr, Thrm, VRel, VOp spike at the very end. I didn't bother pushing past 250 when I crashed at 300 earlier, seems these GPU's are really finicky! I wouldn't have thought I'd get away with 125/1200 after that.

With some of these benchmarks it's not just about the power limit. It's about the OS/Driver/Memory timings/memory speed/Cpu Speed/Nvidia settings/Cold and so forth. They all hinder your true graphics score potential. Just because you see solid green doesn't mean it can't do more. And to do away with that power limit issue you need to load the 1000W Kingpin bios. That still does not mean you will get a fantastic score, due to all the other things potentially wrong. As for the power situation, it's really hard to say considering your no where near 520W, but to get closer to that you will need to use the classified tool. Virtually impossible to do without raising the voltage as sajin mentioned a few times in a couple of these threads.
 
And if you can't do more than +250 on memory, then I would pack the card up and ask for an rma. These cards do a minimum of +1000 on their worse worse day. Or try reflashing the 520W vbios from techpowerup. The one for the Kingpin 3090. That's what I did when my card had the same 450W bios on all 3 slots. 
 
I do have a 4930K setup as well, i'll look to see if I ran any Kingpin benchmarks on it or maybe it was just my 3090FTW3.

Also, my card does not lock 1.1V on 520W vbios either. - NVM - Did a reboot and now it shows 1.1V

I'm not terribly concerned about my scores right now, won't really be until I get my main rig up & running, I understand my scores on this rig will be low. My main concern is figuring out why I seem to be power limited in some way when I should still have headroom left with the 520W bios (assuming I am not misunderstanding something). I need to determine if I need to RMA or not. Based on my understanding I shouldn't be seeing any green bars in perfcap while using this bios until I hit 520W or 120% TDP.

If you use the curve, you will have no green bar.
And you can rma, but your new card will do the exact same thing and you might get a worse one at that.

Yeah that was me on Twitter. I said the hope is for Monday, I didn’t say how unlikely it was. I’m not in a rush since I’m waiting for Optimus to make a block but still rather grab one sooner then later

But "January likely" doesn't give one much hope for Monday the 4th or even that week.

I was told that they are only able to produce 300 to 400 units roughly everyone 1.5-2 months. They didn't go into detail if this was solely for the kpe or just their whole lineup.

They are producing them as fast as they can.

So fingers crossed :)

Assume the list only accounts for ~50% so about 120 deep

Today My room was quiet and I could hear the coil whine...:( Normally this room is full of noise so I never gave it any thought till I shut off everything and listen....

Someone here get fed up on the drop and decide to buy all 4 or 5 3090 kingpin's on ebay for the crazy prices? All of them poof gone today lol.

Not all of them....
 
There are still 9 scalped Kingpins for sale and one is on Ebay for $2825.00 where this "Elite Member" has screwed up and shown his EVGA Sales sticker for All to see.
 
Everyone Definitely now knows when he bought it and who he is.

I'm 99% sure when you buy something and sell it, be it merchandise or something like a car. If you get more than what you paid for, that amount (profit) is income and requires to be taxed or can be considered tax fraud. But again, I don't think 500 bucks for one person is going to be troublesome, this is more for the high rollers lol



I've got a devious idea,  any product that asn't been registered by the first owner has to be sold at the same price if sold to someone else.

Today My room was quiet and I could hear the coil whine...:( Normally this room is full of noise so I never gave it any thought till I shut off everything and listen....
 
This is the one I have loaded on slot 2 right now.

Coil whine on mine is atrocious, easily the worst I've ever heard personally. Almost as bad as the coil whine is the pump noise, I had to use a magnet just to shut it up.
 
Thanks for the link, doubt it'll fix my issues but worth a shot.

Thought people on the wait list should know, I've now gotten two broken KPE edition cards. Both boot into windows but one freezes intermittently and one freezes constantly under load. You truly are playing the lottery with these cards. Besides getting a card that underperforms (as most people received versus the cherry picked ones for their Kingpin OC LN2 broadcasts), you also risk getting a card that just doesn't work for gaming AT ALL. Good luck!
