Should be any minute now we'll start getting informations.

If we are lucky.  I think we need 150 units to drop to get through our 76 spots...I doubt we have more than 50% of the sign-ups for Tranche #2.

Honestly, the 3080 FTW Ultra may be the last EVGA card I purchase unless things improve with their production & distribution by the time I’m looking to upgrade within the next few years.

The fact is these companies only care about making money, so as long as they are selling product as quickly as they can manufacture it everything is gravy on their end. Don’t be fooled by the PR people who get paid well to spin the company’s inability of meeting demand, it’s their job to maintain a good public image.

I don’t blame EVGA, it’s good business after all and the nature of the beast. But knowing they are being supplied with a limited number of chips for production, and proceeding to drop so many additional SKUs further limiting availability to everyone who has been waiting months is a joke. Not only that, but they’ve been letting every individual account signup and purchase one of each SKU so there’s no doubt bots & scalpers account for thousands of these initial orders over and over again with each release.

I’ve exclusively purchased EVGA cards since 2007, and for anyone from EVGA to have said that they were doing everything possible to ensure their cards get into the “right” hands as quickly as possible with the 3000 series was just so disingenuous and such BS.

All I’m saying is if they actually cared who was buying their cards more could have been done to fill the queued orders faster (less SKUs), and limit sales to one per person with billing & shipping details alone. But here we are three months later and just over 24 hours into the initial order queue.

There are still 9 scalped Kingpins for sale and one is on Ebay for $2825.00 where this "Elite Member" has screwed up and shown his EVGA Sales sticker for All to see.
