Whoa. As if getting in at 9am wasn’t hard enough, we have to deal with a shadow pool of people that got in three hours early than they were supposed to. LOL . I guess I’m never getting that card .
I know, and with their posts containing questionable explanations it's just that more mysterious. I honestly hope that EVGA does not fulfill the people who got in prior to 9. If you take into consideration that we currently have only 3 in the list, which is self reported, there could literally be dozens to hundreds more. That is even more likely if you consider bots being involved. The last list capped out on self reported fulfillment at only 76 cards.

Ok on a side note I benchmark a lot and I don’t think my scores are accurate for the system I’ve built. The one on here with the 3900x the got 157xx. On port royal, what am I doing wrong? I have the crosshair hero viii, 5900x, 32gb ddr 4000 MHz Corsair lpx, kingpin hybrid. I get 14,900 on a good day. Anybody with something similar or just want to guess. Oh and I have 360 push 360 pull on kingpin. I have 360 aio on 5900 and one 140mm fan at back of fractal define 7. Thanks

Better silicon, lower ambient temps.. there's a ton of reasons why someone could be 800pts above you. I wouldn't stress it.

Oh I’m not stressed, but he has a 3900 and I have a 5900 you would think that it would have a higher score just because it’s newer.
He uses liquid nitrogen, in a vacuum, and manually replaced all metals with silver while in said vacuum.

Haha I actually have been comparing the scores on 3dmark and he has a higher memory clock and core clock than me but our temps are close, he’s 41 I’m 44. I don’t expect ridiculous high scores I just expected it to be higher.

Congrats on making today's list Newt. Should be good to go in a month or two. I've been wrist deep in my PC the last couple of days as I finally got my KPE Hybrid. New MOBO. New RAM. New CPU. Of course with everything new, it makes it hard to isolate the part that's gone wrong when you have an issue (half my RAM wasn't being recognized - although everything posted and looked good outside half the RAM not being recognized). Typically you'd think RAM issue first, MOBO second.. and then.. what? A lot of googling told me my CPU might not be set. I know looking at it initially it looked like some pins were longer on one side.. but after the **** is going on with my RAM for a couple of days (and putting in my previous 3900x and having everything work fine), I noticed the new CPU is missing three pins. I didn't do that... ain't no broke off pins lying on my floor or in my case. My eyes aren't what they used to be or maybe I'd of seen it earlier. Oh well. Past return time and AMD blames all that on the user. Gotta find someone with the skills to fix it. That said, all's I did was change the fans out on my KPE-HY and ran X1. My first Port Royal Score. This isn't normally my wheelhouse. Would appreciate feedback on how this is looking. Or sneers telling me it's terrible. It's all good. I think it's not too bad given the lack of tweaking and (maybe?) the rolling back of the CPU. Port Royal: 14087 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090(1x) and AMD Ryzen 9 3900X * TimeSpy 21448 with avg temps of 48C

What a terrible take on the matter. This has happened many other times with people getting in early due to unexpected early access. It’s silly to want the lucky few to get punished with no fulfillment.

Half my ram wasn’t working on my Maximus xiii board and it was the cpu socket. There was some pins bent and that was causing the problem. Your port royal score looks good to me. Did you overclocking anything?

It was clear to me you were trying to be funny, failing ;), but trying nonetheless. I don't think humourous posts should be flagged as spam, and you only need to look at his join date, to see that he likely isn't artificially trying to pump his score to get Elite.

Na, I was too busy trying to figure out my RAM situation. Took a trip out to a nearby MC today once I realized three pins were gone. There's a couple bent, but I can fix that. My soldering skills aren't amazing, so I don't know that I can drop a pin over the tiny hole and have it set. Do have some magnifying glasses coming in case I feel brave.. but probably beyond my skillset. By the time I get that good, it'll probably be a couple of years down the road. All's I did was run X1 with the Ryzen 3900x and swap the radiator fans with Noctua 120S fans. Nothing manual. No benchmark is *omg amazing* but all are solid so far. Most very good for the GPU. Seems where it should be with just the few changes I've made.

It's going. A little irritated at the 5900x misfire, but it's just the third most expensive part of my system.. so whatever. And I have a decent fallback while I try to get that fixed. I have managed to slice my fingers a few times trying to run and organize cables. It gives me creepy jitters of Stephen King novels. He focused a lot on cars and dry cleaning / laundering facilities. I guess the latter because that's what his mom worked in and he worked in before selling Carrie. All's I know is I'm half freaked out in the SK universe that my computer will try and eat me.

This morning I felt like my laptop was eating my chance at a KPE HC...but I actually think it was my piss-poor pipe to the Internet. Or just RNG fails. Not sure. But at least I have a marker in the game now...progress!

I think it's RNG (I hate how we use this after the past several years of gaming.. but it makes sense), the internet speed, and the not always mentioned distance to EVGA servers. Newt at least has an edge on the last one. Clearly the other two still matter for sure.
Don't worry about the flag as spam Max. It's weird that it's followed over here. Half the time it's people keyed up from the new elite system perks and the onslaught of 100 posters it's spawned. Half the time it seems like it's people irritated they get flagged for spam and lash out. Whatever.

I am not sure how many pages, but there is a lot of toxic conversation... I believe a lot of frustration... Yes EVGA did another "unexpected" launch in them of failure rate. And everyone don't have the same odds... You location in the US determine your "luck" in a sense that your ping is not identical... And your own hardware... It doesn't need to turn vitriol here... I already have my kphc (one might tell me that I cheated then, which I did not)... Try to keep it civilized please. I am happy to see more people getting some goodness, but if you are not aware there is a chip shortage... And EVGA, as far as I know, is the best of all in term of customer consideration. Did they rise the price? Yes, why, Tarif. Did they increase too much, I don't think so, and they have great quality products, with I believe a great support following conversation and people feedback, not just on the forum.
Remember one thing, EVGA did the queue to give us a fair chance (in a true customer oriented fashion) and it's not perfect, it cost them to do that, the price of there product stay the same. No need to fight each other here.
That's my rant, and I hope most of you will get your GPU within a month, that would be awesome.

I did not want to say anything, but I agree with Fayalite. The system is far from perfect, but at least we have chance to get a card, albeit it may take a (very) long time.

I personally have not read the vitriol. I'm not saying it didn't occur.... I came late to the party. I was just pressing for answers because every answer they gave didn't make sense. Then when they were caught in a flat out lie, they ghosted the forums. I think it's interesting and needs to be investigated, otherwise I couldn't care less and do not view them negatively for getting into the queue early, even if they used questionable methods. I can only hope they have some way to detect that and do not honour those queue positions that may have used those methods.

I had 0 clue the drop was happening and got in around noon, just happened to be checking the notify queue update list and saw the KP didn't say it was waiting for the next button. Hope I get one this summer :p
