That's creepy! I have never bought into the whole voice assistant thing, I see myself just asking what the temperature is outside and really random questions etc.
I have seen videos whereby she does not respond to certain questions at all when asked or if Amazon deems it "inappropiate"

I feel like I'm always paranoid when I'm around one of them. I know they're not "always listening" but it sure feels like it.

I won't have something that ACTIVELY listens to me....my cell phone might if the authorities turn it on..but yeah..not having any of those in my house.

I still want to know what part of society ever thought these sort of devices were a good idea? Apparently people are willing to buy them. Proof positive that people will buy anything.

I have a couple of them and find them pretty nice since I have lighting controlled by them and enjoy them playing music. The fact that they are always listening isn't that much of a problem for me since I found a NSA logo on a measuring tape in my back yard. This was shortly after one of my clan mates Sean 'Vile Rat" Smith turned out to be one of the people killed in Benghazi. Other then playing video games with him I didn't know anything. Still have the measuring tape and would give it back to the NSA if they asked.
