SunnyBeachLooks like a preorder queue unless some actually got to order one. I would like to get one but really don't need it. Darn the wants... Just wish I could order it bundled with a 3090.
ComputerMD82Signed up at 9:36:46 AM PT this morning, came to check on the status and saw the page/notify button were live. Only reservations are regarding RAM support, do we have a QVL for the Classified yet?
sinisterchainI had no sign up button or preorder button... I don't understand this whole notify thing. No notify's in my list.
rocketdougAnyone planning to go with a 12700k? The tests I've seen put it only 2% behind the 12900k, for $200+ less. Or is the thinking that with a $600+ MB, why not go all the way.

I have the 12900kf sitting in a box. I don’t want to have to worry about touching the system for at least 5-6 years.

In 2016 I built my first full on gaming rig. Replaced it two years later, then again last year and now replaced again. So one foot in the leave it be camp and one in the upgrade until you have something shiny and new to play games on. With that said, my 11 year old system is showing its age. So my previous game rig is being updated to replace it. One I9-12900k on an EVGA Z690 board with a EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 Ultra and the other with an I7-12700k on a MSI Z690 Carbon and EVGA RTX 3060 ti.
CTDragonSounds like even if I figure it out, I won't get it for a very long time. Shouldn't have bothered waiting for evga. If I get one, it'll be when a new cpu is available.Does anyone have other recommendations? The only motherboard I've ever actually liked is my OLD evga classified. I think it was for the first gen i series. Since then I've bought a number of asus boards, all garbage. They release their products and never update the firmware or drivers, even to patch chip issues where all they have to do is re-release it. It's like buying an iPhone and Apple saying it's too old to receive updates even though a new one isn't out yet. Asus is a garbage company.Thinking of looking at MSI lineup, but idk. Never owned one.
CTDragonI still don't see a way to sign up to get notified. I'm logged in. Not elite. Is it available yet?
SunnyBeachI plan to go with a Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo in reverse. Gonna do my first water cooled (processor only) build. Running my current build the 12900k gets too hot under load for air cooling. I am quite happy with my Fractal Torrent but Its just not a good case for water cooling. I will just use it in my new 12700k build.
