I do find the choice of bright yellow for the caps just a bit off.  Would be nicer if they chose a more muted color.  I really would just like a little more of an estimate of when they'll be ready since a mobo is the last piece I need to get my new build started.  They've been saying "soon" for over a month now and it's been a couple weeks since the "very soon" comments around Christmas.  Just getting antsy hoping I don't miss this drop while I'm on travel for the next undetermined amount of time...

If so, I wonder why they didn't add a tidbit to cover it up some unless of course it would have contacted a card or something otherwise in that spot. I'd much rather have a good board with a strange color cap than a bad board that needs to be re-capped. Time will tell I guess.

They've been using yellow caps on the Dark boards in that location since at least Z390.  It's likely a choice.

Long before that...as said I had them on my X58 Classy with a 980X !! That was like (guessing) 10 yrs ago.....

Do we know when an equivalent will be available for the AM4? I hope we will still see innovation ahead of the next gen Zen (which we will not be able to buy for at least a year thanks to the shortage).

Wish they gave something. I am getting closer to the X570 Dark and grabbing a 5800X3D and skipping a gen. Would prefer a classified though.

i I wish they had some info on compatible DDR 5 Ram so I can at least search on shuffle to be ready for launch of classified board
 

Highly unlikely that ram is incompatible on just about all motherboards. QVL lists are not really necessary, I have never followed them.

the same rules for 30 series graphics cards don't apply to motherboards. I think it's first come first serve for motherboards. Although I could be wrong. Just sign up and see what happens
