I really hope they will have sufficient stock for both cards. Because my old card broke, I was forced to pay 1200$ for a 2070 SUPER, but I am not that satisfied by the performance. It would be great to be able to buy a 3070 Ti.

dont get your hopes up.

Does anyone knows with the release of the 3070ti and 3080ti, is that mean the supply chain is stable somewhat? Or this is just gonna be another OOS/bots/crypto sweep up all the cards just like the rest???

Is it worth upgrading deom 3080 to 3080Ti though? hmmmm. But those extra cuda cores!!!

IG no, 2 GB and chip upgrade will make the number go higher, but I'm not sure it's that worthy. Only if you that kind of person selling your 3080 for $2k and so you upgrade with a profit.

True. I'm already running my games at very good fps on my 1440p 144hz monitor. It's probably a waste of money, unless I get it and sell my 3080 to cover the msrp of 3080Ti. It'll be a like a free upgrade... I went from 2080 to 3080 and only paying 200 difference when i sold the former back in Nov.

go for it if that's what you truly want. The reviewers in a day should make your decision tho.

yeah, really looking forward to what the reviewers say but if anything, it'll be like gaming on a 3090... imo

im sure it will be close. im hoping EK releases a founders water block for the FE 3080 ti because that would fit perfectly in my system.

a water block sounds awesome. The biggest card i can fit in my system atm is the XC3 Ultra edition. Anything bigger like FTW and I'd have to remove a set of my push/pull fans for the AIO

yeah im planning to replace the 3070 in my build for a 3080 ti. Have you seen the founders water block form ek, looks freaking amazing. and i wont have to worry about the GDDR6X getting to hot.

Water blocks looks really cool but scary to me. lol. There's always the heat/wattage issue. I'm running my 3080 on 2 separate custom power curves to max sustained performance. One i'm maxing out at 280w (better one) and 205W for the lower curve but i'm still able to run games at super high fps. 3080 is already a pretty damn powerful card tbh

So do you queue up through your elite page? Or through the product page? will it be located where the usual cards are on the website? the difference of checking both of these sections could me whether you get a card or not :/ , so do I go to my elite page at 6am or will teh 3080ti product page pop up under the graphics cards section?

where the 30 series cards are now is where you can find them for que.

Thank you!!!   I was worried that no one would answer, I mean I doubt the cards will sell out within seconds if Im on time, but after 1 min it would not surprise me, Im hoping that they are not more than 1800.00 CAD x_x

its a que system so you can enter whenever!

Yes but I will have elite status, I want to get the card ASAP, Im hoping they will have plenty available on launch so that everyone here who is trying to get one will get one.

Oof, that's cheeky. If both 3090 and 3080TI available I would go for 3090. If you already have 1.2k for card, adding 300 bucks on top seems like an easy go, if you targeting ultra gaming. If 3080ti msrp was $1k the answer would be much easier.

Lets just hard line tubing is expensive and i dont want to spend more haha.

For me, i have a lot of room limitations in my case. I would only be able to fit a XC3 Ultra comfortably. 3090 sounds nice and would require changes inside the case but i just can't see myself utilizing 24gb of ram for anything.

EVGA is taking steps to combat botting with manual checks, they said so in a response, however that doesn't stop people from going through the processes and getting a manual order, however I imagine they will look into any suspicious orders, I just REALLY hope they don't donate any GPU's to Linus's VAG program until they satisify ALL the queue orders, 3080ti is an enthusiasts card, not something to be just given away.

3080 really is a beast... Though if you're running Minecraft RTX, it'll still slow it down a smidge when you add too many objects in one place lol.

I would go with a guess with like 1399 or 1499, it's a tad lower than the 3090 so hopefully

Minecraft has to be one of the most underrated hard to run games when you start to change the way the game renders.
