FTW ultra or regular ultra? I'm not sure which was Elite only as i'm not one (never registered my cards since the 980ti...).
Both were elite only. The XC3 were open to everyone. I was specifically referring to the ultra model, not base FTW3.

It's a gimmick to make us think we have a chance, it's an excuse to say "everyone was buying it at the same time" that's why the server was crashing. They probably had only 10 of those 3090's and 6 we're taken by EVGA employees and the other 4 to the "Elites"

WOW- somehow was able to add regular FTW3 to the cart and at the end of checkout process when selecting shipping I was greeted with the following “The Evga product with part number 24-p5-3985-kr was automatically removed from your shopping cart due to insufficient stock”.

uhm.. they want and got the money they want actually... it is just supply/demand/bots. coming from IT background, it is very limited on what you can do to stop them. and if they are getting black friday traffic as traffic for gpus, then ... well there it is. it is a website. only so many requests can be handled at once before servers get overloaded
