redarman Looking at these 3090 gaming benchmarks is annoying, ~10% performance over the 3080. Was EVGA right to make a kingpin out of the 3090 and not the 3080? In that case why did they make a 2080ti KP and not a Titan KP last generation?
Up to this point nvidia didnt allow anyone to make or even sell titans. Those all came directly from nvidia.

If you use EKs configuration tool, it shows up as coming soon. Some of the admins on EK's community Facebook page said it's in the works.

tizubythefizo There aren't a lot of them that will be produced and they're going to sell out. The demand for them will, at this point, with near 100% certainty based on what we now know, be more than NVidia had projected them to be.
We know what the situation is now. I'm not talking about an arbitrary period of time in the present. I'm saying that I believe sales of the 3090 will be poor period, this generation. mistermister And yet when I went to order my card on launch day for the 2000 series, all the 2080ti cards were sold out which is why I ended up with a 2080 FE.
Your desire to have a card on launch day has nothing to do with my assertion about the overall sales of the 2080 Ti. Sales of the 2080 Ti were poor. The only reason I bought one is that I "needed" one, having just moved to a 4K display, and needing as much power as possible for VSync-locked 60 fps at high settings (And it's still not enough power). People simply hung on to their 980 Tis and 1080 Tis instead of upgrading. Both the Steam HW surveys and NVIDIA's own data demonstrate this. The 3090 is an even worse card than the 2080 Ti, in both performance increase and price. I see no reason that sales will be any better.

Nvidia has confirmed the 3090 performance over the 3080: For gamers pushing the limits, the GeForce RTX 3090 is also the first GPU that lets you connect, play, capture, and watch in 8K HDR. That’s an insane 4x the pixels of 4K and 16x the pixels of 1080p. For 4K gaming, the GeForce RTX 3090 is about 10-15% faster on average than the GeForce RTX 3080, and up to 50% faster than the TITAN RTX. Since we built GeForce RTX 3090 for a unique group of users, like the TITAN RTX before it, we want to apologise upfront that this will be in limited supply on launch day. We know this is frustrating, and we’re working with our partners to increase the supply in the weeks to come. — NVIDIA

Must be the bots getting cranked up with the site slowing down. So the store must be getting ready to release some stock.

Had the same thing when my 1080 was new, R6 siege would crash every 20 minutes. AMD had a whole host of crashes with the 5700XT's Pretty common for anything new to have bugs, super common in some games too. They just can't test for every possible setup and variation in existing drivers, Software and hardware. Who knows how many of these people didn't use DDU to clean out the old drivers even.

I'm disappointed that eVGA won't at least setup a consistent "we will release cards at X time each day if we have stock" so we can all have an equal chance at getting them. Playing this random check the site every X minutes game is frustrating. I'd much prefer, cards are released at 10am PST every day, when they sell out, that's it for the day. Then at least we can plan for it, click, try and get one, and then move on with our day.

Equal chance? They should say hey look this guy has been a member since 2004 and he has expressed interest. Let's send him a preliminary chance to acquire the new release so our dedicated long term patrons are satisfied.

Got an email from NVidia earlier about release time/date of the 3090 GeForce RTX 3090 orders open starting September 24 at 6 a.m. Pacific Time. We expect substantial demand, and we have limited supplies. There are many NVIDIA partners selling GeForce RTX 3090, so please check your favorite retailer. If you are unable to secure one immediately, please know that more are coming soon.

Can someone somewhere explain to me the reasoning behind the notify button? It quite literally does not work. I have signed up to be notified on almost all 3080s just for testing purposes (I only want the FTW Ultra) and I have yet to receive an email of availability. How on earth can anyone with a life outside of this crap site ever get a card? I have no intention of sitting there spamming f5 on this site every day all day hoping something will come in stock. Its absolutely inexcusable tbh.
